You're so dark (an Alex Turner fanfic)

Alex opened the door to his apartment, dragged the luggage inside and heared how she closed the door again and locked it, something she simply allways did, she knew in this building no one would ever get inside, but she have had a pretty hurtful situation in th epast and simply felt better when knowing that the door was locked.

Alex put down everything and simply let himself fall on the couch, laying on his belly and moaned quietly, finally they were home. The drive took another five hours because of the traffic or some roadworks on their way. He was just o tired, hungry and felt shitty all in all. Ruby had driven half of the way and also felt pretty done, but not as much as he did.

 She smiled a little and opened a window to let fresh air inside before she got to the couch. She rouffled through light through his hair and then simply climbed on top of his back.

 Alex moaned quietly in plessure of having someone who warmed him. She knew he wanted to feel her, to be sure she was there for him, and of course she was.

 She made herself more comfy on him, put both her hands on his sides and nuzzled her nose into his warm, exposed neck.

 "I'll use you as matrace next time!" she mumbled against his skin.

 Alex laughed muffled against the couch, Ruby could feel that he was the one needing a massage tonight, his shoulders and neck felt all hard and tensed.

 She slid her hands on his shoulders and put a little pressure in her fingers, immediately earning a moan from her monkey.

 "How about you'll get a massage today? After I've hunted us some food in the wilderness of London.." she said quietly and got another quiet laugh from him under her.

 "What do you want for dinner?" she asked, laying her cheek against his neck.

 "Chinese" he answered sounding kind of whiny and like if he would plan to drown in self pity. She surpressed an amused sigh, he could be such a puppy sometimes, especially when he was tired and done like then.

 "Ok...I'll get us some. Anything else?"

 He shoke his head.

 "Good. Then I'll go now, take a nap so you'll be fit for tonight" she said with a laugh and gave him some kisses on his neck, then kissed her way up his jawline and finally gave him one on his lips.

 "Aye luv" he said smiling and she climbed off him again. Ruby bowd down again as she stood next to him and gave him another kiss "I'll be right back" and got his leatherjaket and her wallet and phone and left the apartment to get the food from their favourite chinese restaurant.

Alex kept on laying on the couch for a while, he knew he wouldn't be able to take a nap and so he decideed to turn on some music and brepare the couchtable for the food Ruby would get, his phone got a message from Matt

 'got home safe? See ya 2moro, hugs 2 Rubs'

 Alex smiled, it felt good, knowing that his friends cared for him and Ruby.

 'All 3' was his answer and he actually couldn't wait to tell Matt how the holidays were.

 It was the first time that they've been together for real holidays and it turned out perfect.

Half an hour later he heared the door open again and he looked up from his notes. Alex sat on the floor on the pillows, on his favourite spot, the window that reached to the ground.

 She went to the kitchen to put the food on some plats and into bowls.

 She hummed 'Brick by brick' as she did so and smiled bright when she felt his chin on her shoulder and his hands on her belly.

 She let the food stay there and turned around, giving him a peck on his cheek.

 "Cuddles in the kitchen hm?" she mumbled and also enjoyed the soft hug.

 "As allways Mardy Bum" he answered also smiling and yearned for a real kiss that he got.

 "Matt gives you a hug, texted me"

 "Cute"

 "I prepared the couch for dinner...is that ok?" he asked while keeping on hugging her, Ruby stroke over his back "Sure"

 He was really needy for love and cuddle as it seemed.

 "Ok then I'd say you'll warm up the couch for us and I'll be right there with the food...if you ever let me go" she said smiling .

 "He only hugged her tighter to his body, as if he would be afraid it was the last time.

 "Come on you giant puppy, we can cuddle the rest of our life" she said smiling softly at him and patted his back.

 What she just said, made a happy warm feeling spread inside him and he could do anything else than kiss her in the kitchen.
