Chapter 4: Read title for a hint

"Is there something wrong?"

I look her in the eyes and say, "Not at all. I just want to know if I can reincarnate in a form different from my current one?" You'd think such a question wouldn't warrant me doing that, but it's that important to me. And thankfully, she knows that too now.

Still, she looks even more perplexed than before as she asks me, "you don't want to reincarnate with a similar form to the one you had?" Which is more than understandable.

"Yes. Is it possible?" I insist with a confident yet calm tone, as I don't want to sound demanding and I'd understand if it weren't possible.

"Of course. But are you sure? That part of the compensation was meant to help you as a reminder of your origins and make it easier for you to adapt." The beautiful Goddess looked at me now with curiosity rather than perplexion. Perhaps she's wondering how I want to look when I reincarnate into her world. Yawue had seemed surprised for a moment but then he just gave me a look that told me he had figured it out and then he shook his head, stifling a laugh and mumbling "of course."

That's the God of my world for you. He sure knows me well. "Yes, I'm sure. After all, I'm not losing my memories, so I don't think it will be a problem for me. But...could there be any side effects?"

"No, no. There are none. It would be a problem if we were reincarnating you into an already existing body, but since it involves making a custom one from scratch there are no such worries."

I let out a sigh of relief after hearing that. "Ah, that's great. Then yes, I would like to be able to choose."

"Very well. And I suppose you're in agreement too, right Yawue?"

"Of course. That is well within the realm of what could be considered fair compensation under divine law. You even said that your offer could be considered lesser. As such, this could be considered added value."

"Hmm~, if you put it that way then I have no more doubts." She smiles. Heavenly, of course. But more importantly...OBJECTIVE GET!

YES! YES! YEEEEES!!! She accepted! I'm so happy!! Oh, Goddess, you really are turning out to be better waifu material the more I interact with you. "Then, I shall leave you two to your work, you can use this room as you please. Nerinne, summon me when it is time to finish the reincarnation. I guess he has God-like things to do and since I chose the Goddess' world then that probably means that she has to do most of the work.

"Indeed. It is as you think, Auros. Since you chose my world, I'll be the one creating your body and so on. Other Gods can't help in this process, beyond providing energy and blessings for irregular cases such as yours."

Oh. Ok. By the way, can you at least tell me when you are reading my mind and when you are not?

"You managed to surprise me once already when I wasn't. So, no. Fufufu~~~."

Fine. You beautiful Goddess whose playful giggles make my heart almost fall for you, have it your way.

"I'm glad you understand. Now, do you have an idea as to what you would like your new body to be?"

Oh yes. I do. Several. My new body needs to have a charisma that would make one wonder if one is a king or a force to be followed absolutely. In other words, sublime.

Enough power to hold the 'ends of the world', like cataclysms, in one hand and reign over the world's storms.

An instinct that reads the flow of battle and points me in the right direction in any situation, letting me go for the best result and strike where it hurts the most.

An enormous amount of mana, enough to create an engulfing aura that enhances my strength beyond the maximum at will.

A crown of draconic black horns that shows my power and my authority.

Pale white skin that shines unblemished in both day and night. Golden eyes that glow red whenever my aura is activated or just whenever I want to.

Golden hair that would make even royalty jealous.

And of course, a bountiful chest that's almost divine.

"...eh?"

THERE IS NO NEED TO BE SHOCKED, DEAR GODDESS! I SIMPLY WISH FOR THE BODY THAT PUTS ANY OTHER CHOICE TO SHAME.

WHAT?! WERE THEY BLIND? THEY SHOULD BE PUNISHED!

AGAIN, AND SO MUCH MORE!!

"But you are not supposed to be able to bring objects from your world into this place..." The Goddess murmured, shocked to the point that her eyes were wide open.

"That is because...THEY ARE ENGRAVED IN MY VERY SOUL!!!!!" And with that, I began my long explanation. Hope you are ready for the ride, Goddess. It's gonna be wild!
