Ch. 15

I woke up the next morning not so pumped for what I was doing today. I never really sang in front of people because I always thought they wouldn't like me.

I grabbed my cloud print shirt that said Couldn't Be Happier, white jean shorts and headed into the bathroom.

Getting in the limo I just sat there trying to calming down.

"You nervous." I looked over at Matt who sat right next to me.

"What if they don't like me? What if something goes wrong?"

"They are going to love you and you will be just fine. You are an amazing singer, don't ever ever doubt yourself. Just imagine you are singing alone in bedroom and you'll do just fine." He always knew the right things to say. Matt had actually calmed me down a bit as I stepped out the limo.

Security let us through the back door and we went over to backstage.

Shawn and I sat in a quieter area to practice before going up on stage. We had decided earlier to do his song Show You.

You could hear the excitement from the fans as they started letting more and more fans in.

Mahogany started calling everyone up then I heard my name called.

"And we have a special guest today, Cece Devereux!" I stepped onto stage and sat near Matt and Shawn.

Jack and Jack sung and then it was me and Shawn's turn. I was shaking as we got up and sat next to each other.

I just controlled my breathing as Shawn started playing his guitar.
