Jack was standing briefing the press when Caroline and John burst in. “Daddy! Look what Caroline found!” John exclaimed as he ran up on to the stage and hugged his Daddy’s leg.
Jack looked rather awkward as the press sat there. Caroline came up and joined them. Jack bent down so he could speak to his children quietly. “I need to finish briefing the press can you sit there quietly please?”
“Sure Daddy.” John smiled.
After Jack had finished his statement he waited for questions. “Sir can we talk to Caroline and John?”
“Depends on what you ask them.”
The press nodded.
“John what do you think of your Daddy?”
“My Daddy is the best Daddy in the entire world; he does everything for me and Caroline.”
The Press laughed. “What’s the best thing he does?”
“When he makes up stories for us.”
“Caroline do you want him to win another term?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
Caroline smiled. “He has things to do for America.”
Jack grinned he was so proud of his kids. “Right that’s enough questions otherwise my wife will kill me. She may have a bump but she can still chase me and the secret service are scared of her.” Jack teased.
He took his kids hand and led them out to the hall. “Thanks for that guys.” Jack laughed.
“No problem.”
Jack ruffled John’s hair. “Are you excited about having a new sibling?”
“Yes Daddy.” Caroline smiled.
“Any name ideas?” Jack asked.
“No sorry.”
“Ok, right why don’t you go upstairs I have work to do.”
“Ok.” Caroline and John said before skipping away. He smiled before settling down to look at the plans for health care if he was re-elected.
