Jack and Jackie’s House

6pm

Jack and Jackie were lying snuggled together on the sofa, Molly was down for the night and Caroline and John were upstairs with Nanny Shaw. Jack and Jackie were waiting on Bobby, Teddy, Ethel and Joan arriving. When there was a knock at the door Jackie got up to answer it.

Suddenly the hallway was filled with laughter. Before he could get to his feet Bobby and Teddy rushed in and slumped down beside him. “Hey mate your coming to the beach with us, go get the beer.” Bobby smiled.

“Ok, I’ll meet you down there.”

Bobby and Teddy grinned before dashing down to the beach. Jack was in the kitchen putting the beers into a bag when Jackie appeared behind him. “Have fun tonight Jack.”

“I will kid, enjoy your girly night in.” Jack replied placing a kiss on her cheek.

As he made his way down to the beach he found Bobby and Teddy sitting in the camping chairs. When he reached them they both snatched a beer from the bag. Jack flopped down and opened his drink. He hadn’t felt this relaxed in ages.

8pm

Jack was now on his third beer but he was having fun. “So, anything funny to tell me from the campaign?” Teddy asked.

Jack flashed an angry glance at Bobby.

“Oh what happened?” Teddy exclaimed.

“It was the final debate and Jackie’s first outing since Molly was born and well Pierre and Kenny were giving an interview after, I went to Jack’s dressing room but when I went in they were pretty busy doing other things than just watching the TV.”

Jack had turned bright red. Teddy was in hysterics.

“Then there was also the time Jack and I went down to the bar at two in the morning because he was stressed but he had just found out Jackie was five months pregnant.”

“Yes ok Bobby please shut up now.” Jack said.

“Have you seen From Russia with love?” Bobby asked.

“Oh hell yeah.” Jack grinned.

“The bond girl….oh God she’s so hot.” Teddy replied.

Jack was now opening his fourth beer when Teddy poked his arm. “What?” Jack asked.

“Should you be drinking that much? It’ll affect your Addison’s.” Teddy said.

Jack looked up and glared at him. “Don’t tell me what to do; I’m the President of the United States.”

“Oh sorry.” Teddy teased.

“I can get drunk if I want too, when was the last time I got drunk?”

“I….um don’t know, sorry I said anything.”

Jack nodded and went back to his beer.

11pm

Teddy was sitting looking at the state of his brothers. “Maybe it’s time we headed home.”

“Yeah you’re probably right.” Bobby said.

“Aww but we were having fun.” Jack complained.

“Jack how many fingers am I holding up?” Teddy asked.

Jack focused for a moment. “Six.”

Teddy shook his head. “Eh yeah sure.”

Jack nodded feeling proud.

“Right come on Bobby I’m going to take you home.”

“Ok.” Bobby replied as he got to his feet. He quickly lost his balance and fell to the ground. He looked around confused. “Who put the ground here?”

Teddy had to struggle not to laugh. He helped his brother up. “JERRY!”

When Jerry appeared he looked at Teddy the only sober brother. “Can you get Jack home?”

“Yes sir.”

Bobby and Teddy quickly left but Jerry had to help the President up. “Hey it’s Jerry, how are you?” Jack asked as he took the agent’s arm.

“I’m fine thank you Sir.”

“Good…..I’ve got to ask, why are you always here? Do you never go home?”

“I go home when I’m allowed Sir.”

“Why do you keep calling me Sir? My name is Jack, J-A-C-K.”

“Eh yes Sir.”

“Look you just did it again.” Jack replied.

When they reached the door Jerry was about to knock when Jackie opened it, Ethel and Joan were just leaving. “Thank you Jerry.” Jackie smiled.

“No problem Mrs Kennedy.”

Once the agent had left Jackie took her husband’s arm and guided him in. “God Jackie you look hot.”

“Behave yourself.”

Jack pretended to be hurt.

“Right I’ll see you tomorrow.” Jackie said to her sister in laws. Once the door was closed Jack pushed his wife up against the wall. “I want you.”

“You’re drunk, you’re going to bed.”

“Ok.” Jack said before slowly going upstairs.
