As we walk into the school, we're directed down the hallway to the gymnasium by teachers. The girl that was talking to me on the bus quickly runs up beside Moxi and I. "So how long have you guys known each other?" She asks with a smile. I look over at Moxi. "What has it been, 2 or 3 years?" I ask as Moxi nods. "Yea it was back in middle school." He says as I look back to her. "So, yea, 3 years roughly." I say as she laughs nervously. "Would it be ok if I sat with you guys in the gym?" She asks with a nervous laugh. Most definitely 100 percent, no question in my mind, N- "I'm fine with you sitting with us." WHY. I laugh as I shake my head. "Sorry, I didn't catch your name on the bus, what was it again?" I ask as she smiles. "My name is Aria. I would ask your name, but everyone knows you Malick." She says with a giggle. "Yea, but only because I live with one of the richest families in the entire world. Money isn't everything. I think as Moxi jumps on my back. "Onward bro! We must secure seats before anyone else!" He yells as I hear a teacher shush us from across the hall. "Dude, we're at the end of the hall. The gym is literally 10 feet away. You did that to cause a scene didn't you?" I ask with a smile. "Yea, I did." He says as he jumps off my back looking proud. "I can one up that." I say with a grin as he raises his chin and looks down on me. "Then do it." We stare intently at each other as I grin. "We're doing THAT, aren't we?" He asks as I nod. "Ooh, let's do it in the gym. It'll cause even more of a stir." I say as he pats my back. "Genius, let's do it." He quickly dashes into the gym. I grab Aria's hand and lead her while following Moxi. We quickly find our seats on the very first row, close to the people who will be talking to the school. After a few minutes, the entire school is packed into the gymnasium and is seated. "Alright, we have a very special speaker today. Please give a warm welcome to a member of the DAA." The teacher says as we see the guy with the long black hair and cloak walk in. Me and Moxi quickly look at each other and smile. As we look back, we see him standing 10 feet away from us. I can tell he's analyzing everyone in the room by the way his eyes dart around. "My name is Raven. I've been working for the Demon Angel Alliance for 16 years. I am here today to give a little history on who we are and what we do." He says. As he continues to talk Moxi taps on my shoulder. "Does it seem a little odd that we were just talking about the DAA and a representative shows up to talk about the DAA?" Moxi whispers as I nod. "That is odd. But there's still a possibility for it to be a massive coincidence." I reply in a whisper. I go back to paying attention to Raven. "My friends and I have been handling threats to your world before you even know of them. We have far over 100 active Angels and Demons keeping all humans safe at all times. A common misconception is that all demons are bad and all angels are good. I like to use Silvia, from the Scarlet Angel incident nearly 24 years ago as a good representation. An angel threatening the extinction of all life in the universe. I participated in that fight, but ultimately it was up to one of my dear friends to stop her." He says as someone in the gym yells out. "So, if he stopped some god like person, I'd hope he's with your organization?" They ask as Raven nods. "He isn't directly with us, but he means only the best for all of humanity, I assure you." Raven says. He continues to talk about all the times he's fought for our world and humanity. "If there's one thing I want you to take way from this today, it's that you can place your faith in us. We will always be protecting the human race." He says as I look at Moxi. "Want to cause that scene now?" I ask with a devious grin. "Aren't you scared that guy might kill us?" He asks as I shake my head no. "He's wanting to protect us, so let's see how good he is." I say as Moxi mulls over the idea. I set my backpack on the floor and nod. Moxi quickly stands up and grabs my arm. As he pulls, I push off to give the illusion he threw me almost 7 feet away. I quickly roll to my feet and run toward him. As we start to punch toward each other, I blink and I'm on the ground. Moxi is also on the ground. He flipped us. I see Raven standing over me. I quickly roll to my feet. "How about you fight me using human reflexes?" I say, trying to taunt him. "Alright." He replies as he takes off his cloak and tosses it aside. "Moxi, I'm going to need your help." I say as Moxi quickly rolls to his feet. I see a short sword on Ravens hip that he un-sheathes and tosses onto his cloak. "Try to knock me off my feet." Raven says as he enters a fighting stance. I look at Moxi and smile. "Just like team sparring?" I ask as he nods. We both quickly rush towards Raven and throw a punch with our right arms. Raven grabs both of our fists with each of his and flips us over his back. I quickly roll to my feet and rub my back. "Alright, let's try that again but not fail this time." Moxi says as I laugh lightly.
