"Malick, Moxi, you're up!" Lastis yells as he quickly grabs the barrel and points it up. A loud blast causes my ears to ring as Moxi and I charge Zalca. I quickly swing my sword towards him as Moxi kicks towards his face. He tilts his head closer to my blade, then blocks my blade with his elbow and Moxi's kick with the same arm's hand. A little blood seeps from his elbow where my sword is pressed tightly. "Not bad, but you seem a little weak." He mumbles as he sweeps my legs, then kicks Moxi through the wall with a single motion. As Moxi starts to walk back through the wall, I see Zalca backhand the wall. A crack runs throughout the wall as the ceiling collapses on top of Moxi. "You're out of your element, clearly." He says while staring at me. "Malick!" Attira yells as she jumps over me and kicks towards Zalca. He grabs her foot midair then looks behind me. I look back to see Fallyn holding a stick. "What the hell are you doing." Zalca mumbles as Fallyn charges him. "Shut up! I forgot my weapon at the base!" Fallyn yells as he swings the stick towards Zalca. As the stick hits him, it breaks instantly. Zalca closes his eyes and sighs. I take the opportunity to jam my sword towards his eyes. Without looking he holds up his hand in front of him with his palm facing me. As my blade rips through his hand, it slides all the way to the hilt, where the blade stops an inch from his face. As I start to pull the blade away, he slightly clenches his fist, preventing me from removing my sword. While he's distracted with Fallyn and me, I see Attira sit up and jam her knife into his throat. His eyes burst open as he kicks her chin and plants her head into the tile floor. As he reaches for the knife, I see a soda can hit the knife and rip it from his throat. He quickly pulls up his free hand to cover the hole as I look over. I see Moxi in the pitching position with another can of soda. As he throws it, Zalca holds up his hand and catches it. He slams the can upwards against Fallyn and knocks him into the ceiling, then brings his hand down onto my right shoulder. As I fall to one knee, I see his leg already swinging towards me. Before I can react, he kicks me through the front window of the gas station. A few shards of glass stuck deep into my left arm. As I grunt in pain, I see blood pouring from the cuts. I quickly pull a sharp of glass out before I see him jump out the window towards me. While trying to dodge his attacks, I manage to remove all shards of glass, except for a longer piece embedded in the top of my forearm. Fallyn and Attira stumble through the broken window as Zalca picks up a shard of glass and stares at me. "You DAHC are all the same." He growls angrily as he lunges toward me. While he's in mid-jump and attack, I manage to slip past his jab. I punch towards his face as he glares at me. He leans to the side but quickly realizes his mistake. I see his eyes widen as the shard of glass in my arm rips through the left half of his neck. Blood squirts onto my arm and face as he quickly bends his elbow and stabs me through the right shoulder with the shard of glass he has. "Checkmate." I mumble as I wrap my arms under one arm and over the other shoulder. I quickly hook my leg in his as I see Attira and Fallyn running towards him. Attira has blood dripping from her chin and she lunges with her knife. Fallyn as a chunk of his chin missing as he swings downward with my sword. A slight smile appears on Zalca's face as my sword barely cuts him and Attira's knife barely puncture his flesh. "Did you really think that would work?" He asks as he grins and starts trying to break my grip. "Yes, it did." Attira says as I see a shadow appear around us. As I look up, I see Lastis land on Zalca's shoulders and jam his sword into Zalca's shoulder. "Shit!" Lastis yells as we all get knocked back onto our backs. I recoil slightly as I land on the glass in my arm, and it pierces my stomach. As I slowly stand up, I look over my shoulder. I see Zalca has 2 large bones sticking out of his shoulder and a thin and long tail made of what looks like bone. "We need to retreat, he has a first release!" Lastis yells as I stumble to my feet. Before I even move, I have a spike driven through my stomach. As I vomit blood and gasp from indescribable pain, I get kicked several feet away. As I look at the 4-inch-wide hole in my stomach, I feel tears welling up from the pain. I scream out in pain as I hear Attira scream as well. My eyes quickly jolt towards her. I see her struggling while being held off the ground by Zalca's tail around her throat. As Lastis and Fallyn both jump towards Zalca, he appears at them and grabs them both by the throat while still holding Attira off the ground with his tail. "Mal-ick." Fallyn grunts as he coughs up a little blood from his throat getting crushed. He tosses my sword over to me. I force myself t my feet and pick my sword up. "Don't hurt my friends!" I yell as I see Moxi jump from the roof of the gas station while holding a stop sign. In mid-air he pulls himself on top of it then pushes down with his feet and jams it through Zalca'z shoulder and pins him to the ground. As Zalca yells and drops everyone, he uses his free hand and tail to grab the stop sign. Blood pours from the opening in his arm as he slowly pulls it out. I force myself forward and jump up then slam my sword down against Zalca's neck. It barely pierces skin as he starts to reach for me. As he grabs my leg, I see Attira, Lastis, and Moxi all kick downward on my blade. A loud ringing noise echoes for miles as the sword cuts through Zalca's head and the stop sign. We all breathe heavily and look at each other for a second before a thud echoes around jars me back to looking at Zalca. His head is laying on the ground and his body leans back with the stop sign still impaling his shoulder. A slight chuckle makes me jump to my feet and rip my sword from the pavement it's jammed in. As I look back, I see 3 people smiling and sitting on the roof of one of the abandoned houses. Who are these guys
