Velon looks around as the other generals walks over to us. "I do say we need to talk about who you truly are, but I feel as though it isn't my place to say." Velon says as Sinclair nods. The other generals all seem confused. "Generals, you will most likely not be told a lot of things. It's best to not worry about it." Sinclair as I quickly tighten my fist. "Why will no one tell me who I am!? I've already been told that I'm not human! So, what? WHO AM I?!" I yell as loud as I can as Velon stares at me. "Who told you this?" Velon asks as Ayumi places her hand on my shoulder, her eyes growing cold. "I did, do you deny him the truth?" Ayumi asks as Velon glares at her. "You should know, that all demons and angels were ordered to not speak of it." Velon says as Ayumi closes her eyes. "And you should really be more careful with how you speak to me, but it seems neither of us cares too much for the others concerns or wishes." Ayumi says as she glares back at Velon. A breeze blows through the area, but all I feel is the the energy floating around us. A thick layer of energy weighing down on me as Velon sighs. As the energy around us vanishes, he scratches the side of his head. "They won't be happy, but I have larger concerns at hand. You are annoying, I'll give you that, but not worth my time. If it's too much of a problem, you'll be told by them that it is." Velon says as he turns around. "Who?" I ask as he coughs and teleports away. Sinclair glares at the other generals as they all look away except cherry. "I like her, you sure we can't keep her?" Cherry asks as Ayumi laughs. Ayumi pats my head and smiles. "He just needs to learn how to control his energy." Ayumi says as Sheeva closes her eyes. "Just teach him how to properly use his energy, if you know so much." Sheeva says coldly as Ayumi nods. "I have already proved to be stronger than all five of you, so I feel as though I could teach him better." Ayumi says as I stare at the ground. "I just want to know who I am. If I'm not human, who are my parents?" I mumble as I look at everyone. "I could easily tell you." A voice says behind me. I quickly turn around as everyone gets in front of me. I see a man with long black hair and a wide smile. He has a jacket on and baggy pants, but no shoes. His eyes are blue with a slit iris. "Kuro Lucifer, I'm here to once more offer you a position in Terminus. We can tell you whatever you want to know." He says as everyone readies their weapons. A loud blast draws my attention to Sinclair. She's holding her rifle straight up in the air. The entire sky turns dark blue as the sun is blocked out. A few seconds later hundreds of angels and demons appear, surrounding Kuro. Among them I recognize Raven, Aziria, and Velon. "All this commotion for me? I think my lord would be more deserving of drawing such a crowd. Also, I was instructed to an invite to you as well. Ayumi Tiamat, Queen of Dragons." Kuro says as he holds out his right hand. "How strong is your master?" Vale asks as Kuro looks around. "His mere presence could scar your world, only stronger beings are permitted to be very close to him, lest they die instantly." Kuro says as Aziria lunges towards him. As I blink, Aziria in unconscious and Kuro is holding her off the ground with his right hand. "Last chance to come with me." Kuro says as I see every angel and demon lunge towards him. As I take a step back, Ayumi jumps towards him. She grabs Kuro's other hand as Kuro throws Aziria aside. In the blink of an eye they teleport away. A heavy silence covers the area as several beings look at the markings left in the ground where Kuro was standing. "Terminus is planning to destroy the world." I hear Raven say as I quickly run over. Where Kuro was standing now set 12 outwards facing swords, each glowing silver. "Generals, you need to gather your strongest fighters you have." Velon says as I shake my head in confusion. "What's happening? What does this mean?" I ask as Velon looks to me. "The Twelve Knights of Animus. A group of fallen demons that consume worlds, we can't let them reach earth. I don't know how much time we have, but Terminus is showing their true colors. Anyone of the knights could destroy several planets by themselves. For all twelve to be called." Velon summons his sword and teleports away. "Is there anything I could do?" I ask as Aziria looks at me, then shakes her head and vanishes. Raven sighs and looks at me. "Kid, don't worry. We have plans for this, they just need to get an energy barrier erected around Earth. I doubt that these knights are very strong if all they could do is destroy planets. I've fought beings that could destroy solar systems, these guys shouldn't be that bad." Raven says as he teleports away. As I look back, I see all the generals except Vale and Sinclair have left. "It seems that this group, Terminus, is trying to hurry. Why would they summon beings like that if they claim to be stronger?" Vale says while staring at the sky. "It feels almost like a test." Sinclair says as I make a fist. "A test for who?" I ask as they both look at me. "What if this is a form of training for controlling my energy?" I ask as Vale sighs. "I think Ayumi was just using you, you saw how quickly she abandoned you." Vale says as Sinclair quickly jumps. Almost like she was taken by surprise. "I need to go, a massive energy just appeared in New York." Sinclair says as she starts to teleport. As her energy starts to move, I grab her shoulder and appear in New York with her. "Why?" She asks me as I look up towards a man. He has red eyes with billowing red smoke rolling off his head. His entire body is clad in sharp black armor. He stands about nine feet tall. "So, this is one of the knights of Animus?" I mumble as a monstrous black blade appears in his right hand.
