As I open my eyes I see a ruined city around me. Decimated buildings and cracked ground surround me entirely. I feel a bead of sweat roll down my cheek as I hear a low growl. As I spin around, I see my left arm has returned, but it has veins of purple and blue energy radiating and pulsating through it. As I look ahead I see a building crumble, and a large beast emerge from the ground. Spikes cover it's body. It bears it's sharp teeth and stands up straight. It stands several stories tall and just as wide as the building. "This is our first time truly seeing each other." It grumbles, it's voice alone ripping the nearby buildings and environment apart. I slide backwards and fall onto my back. As it steps towards me, I feel my heart sink. It's presence alone instills a fear that petrifies me. I clench my teeth and force myself to stand up, my entire body shaking. "So you are the weakling that I live inside." It says, it's voice one more knocks me to the ground. "Pathetically weak." it mumbles, continuing to walk towards me. "I was given to you to make you stronger, but as it stands now." It pauses as it leans closer to me. "My energy would rip your soul and body apart. You would die instantly." It's voice booms and seemingly cracks every bone in my body. I twitch and struggle to breathe. "When you grow stronger, you will inherit all of my power." It says as my body goes numb. "Hey, that's not very cool." I hear Moxi say from somewhere. The creature stands up and looks around for a second. "This is your conscious, so you may be struggling to hold onto life by bringing those who support you here. But they are only as strong as you see them to be." It grumbles as its head suddenly gets blown off by an unseen force. It's head immediately regenerates as it glares into the distance. I struggle to stand up as it stares into the distance. As I make it to my feet, I see Moxi standing on a chunk of a broken building. "This place looks like it came straight out of a video game." He mumbles as I smile lightly. "How are you here?" I ask as the creatures exhales deeply. "It's not really him, this is just the clone of him your subconscious has made. You must see him as a very powerful person." The creature says quietly as it suddenly gets split in half. Moxi appears beside me. "The procedure will be a success. Your new arm will look badass." He says with a wide smile. "Your part of my subconscious?" I say quietly as Moxi laughs. "What? I don't think so." Moxi says as he pats his chest and legs. "I feel pretty real." He says as the creature stands back up. "To think, your image of him surpasses me. I am the pet of one of the strongest beings alive, and yet he overpowers me." The creature says as Moxi pops his neck and smiles. "I know, I know. I'm awesome." He says jokingly as he props his arm on me. "But anyone who messes with my bro here, has to fight me too." He says as I smile. I quickly speak up. "Who is your master then?" I ask as the creature looks at me. "Ragnarok. Manifestation of Destruction." It says as my body seemingly becomes lifeless amd light from his words. I start floating up as Moxi and it look at me. "Manifestation?" I mumble to myself as Moxi quickly grabs my wrist and pulls me back down. "A manifestation is extremely powerful. Almost unrivaled in power and abilities. I was given to a mortal as a weapon, but as you were born, I was fused deep within you and sealed until you were ready." It says as my left hand starts throbbing. "You barely used one-thousandth of my energy and it almost killed you." It says as I clench my fists. "So what would it take to get strong enough to use your power? And why would I even want to use your energy?" I ask as it stares down to me. "You do not see the full picture yet, and you likely won't until it's too late. When the time comes, you'll know your purpose. But as it stands now, you do not know your reason for existing." It says as I stare at it. "That really doesn't answer my question." I say as Moxi speaks up. "That sounds like a video game I played once." He says quietly as the creatures growls. "I am destruction, I am death." It growls, trying to intimidate us. Moxi starts laughing uncontrollably. "Oh boy, that's a good one. So you're death?" Moxi says as he vanishes. As I blink, the world is split in half at the edge of my feet. As I look down I see a clean cut all the way down until I can't see any more. After several second the cut becomes apparent as the other half starts drifting further and further away. "Death must be weak, to be overpowered so easily!" Moxi says as he punches the beast. The entire other half cracks and crumbles into the void below us. Another bead of sweat rolls down my cheek as I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look back and see Moxi smiling. "I'll always be here to protect you, my friend." He says as I smile. "Sorry." He says as he pushes me of the ledge. I scream as I fall back, watching him put his hands in his pockets and stare off into the distance. While I'm falling, I hear a whizzing and whirring sound. I suddenly jerk awake and jump away. I see a few techians staring at me as I gasp for breath and lean against the wall. I feel sweat all over my neck and face, as I reach to wipe some of the sweat off, I feel cold metal. I look to my left and see a black and silver metal arm.
