"I am quite impressed with you, Moxi." Vale says as Moxi looks to him. "And why is that?" Moxi asks as Vale laughs. "It was purely hypothetical, there was no guarantee that you'd feel completely fine after absorbing the energy." Vale says as Moxi laughs. "I'm actually in indescribable agony right now, but I have a very good pain tolerance." Moxi says as Vale looks shocked. "Well damn, not even I could hold myself together when I was given black energy. I'm impressed." Vale says while staring at Moxi. I can tell by his eyes that he doesn't believe a word of what Moxi is saying. "So, what about the rest of you?" Vale asks as I laugh nervously. "I'll take the energy after I've seen the rest of the base." I say nervously as the other 2 recruits nod in agreement with my plan. "As you wish." Vale says as he leads us down to room "6B". We walk into the room to the sigh of a lot of scientific equipment. "Only 1,100?!" I hear Sorin yell from behind one of the many machines. As we all walk over to him, we see an odd-looking devise in his hands. "What is that?" I ask as Vale laughs. "That state-of-the-art technology that we use to gage how strong someone is or how strong they are becoming. It is referred to as a C.P.I. Or Calculated Power Identifier if you will." Vale says Sorin hands it too me. "So how do I use it?" I ask. "Just scan it over yourself." He says as I look at it. So, it's basically a power level scanner like some anime have? But it looks so much like a scanner for groceries at a store. I think to myself as I scan my arm. After a second a number pops up on the screen. "11? So out of the 9 digits possible to get on this screen, I had a two digit 11." I say as I look at Vale. He smiles and nods. "That's above average for most humans. Most humans have a 9 or 10 on that devise. The world's strongest man received a 33." Vale says as he pats Moxi on the back. "Let's see what yours is." Vale says as Moxi takes the devise and scans himself. A few seconds later he hands Vale the devise and says. "It's broken, I'm assuming its still a prototype?" Moxi asks as I walk to Vale and look at the screen. 000,000,000. So, his strength is 0? Must be a glitch. I think as Vale scans himself. I see the number 260,000 appear on the screen. Holy shit, Vale is monstrously strong. And there is still two other people stronger than him?! I think to myself as he hands the devise back to Moxi. Moxi scans himself again. "12." Moxi says without showing us the screen. He quickly scans the other two recruits "10." He says for both. Once again, I see Vale staring at Moxi with eyes of disbelief. I understand that he doesn't believe Moxi just scored a 12. Sorin laughs from behind us. "Ha, you guys are weak. I scored over 1,000" Sorin says proudly. "Speaking of which, what are you?" I ask as Sorin laughs. "I'm half demon and half human." He says as Moxi speaks up. "How old are you?" Moxi asks as he stops to think. "What is today? Tuesday? So that means I'm roughly 3,058 years old." He says while looks at the ceiling. "How are you so old?" Moxi asks a little rudely as Sorin laughs. "Well I am half demon, so I don't age really." Sorin says as we look at him confused. "Them how did you grow up to be almost 20 if you don't age?" I ask as sighs. "You age like a normal human until you unlock your power. I unlocked mine when I was 16. I then ruled over most of earth for nearly 30 years before I was sealed by a lady named Azura. I only learned in the last several years that Azura was one of the strongest beings ever." Sorin says as Moxi speaks up. "Even demons can die though, so why are you so certain that you can't die?" Moxi asks as Sorin scratches his chin. "According to a lady named Ragnarok, I have a curse from a manifestation that if something exists, I'll never die. I forgot what that something is because there's no one alive that could stop or destroy everything." Sorin says as I nod. "So, you are perfectly immortal?" I ask as he nods in response. I look back to Vale. "So, what about the next floor?" I ask as Vale sighs. "The next floor down is the bunker. Its just a large empty room that'll protect us from any conventional attacks." Vale replies as he smiles. "So, it's time for the remaining 3 to get their energy." Vale says as he leads us back up the stairs. Johnny is still unconscious on the floor. The other two recruits grab the yellow and blue tagged syringes. "I won't lose to you, Moxi." I say as I grab the red and black tagged Syringes when Vale isn't looking, then I quickly inject both. As soon as I push the energy into my arm, the world goes dark and silent. All sense of feeling ceases to exist. Through the darkness, I feel a female voice rip through me. "How is he alive?" I quickly jolt awake to see Moxi, Vale, Sorin, and Sheeva standing around me. My body feels tingly as I jump and roll forward away from something. I look back to see one of the other recruit's hand where I was just sitting. "He dodged me without looking." He mumbles as Sheeva walks over too me. She gets on one knee and stares into my eyes. A fear creeps through me as her gaze remains fixated on me. "How did you survive absorbing two different energies at the same time. One of which being from an S rated demon." She says as she starts looking over my body. Analyzing every inch of me. "Malick, for now, get some rest. If you survive through the night, we'll be giving you advanced training first thing tomorrow." Sheeva says as she taps my forehead. As my vision starts to go dark, I see her throw me over her shoulder.
