Moxi and I quickly dash towards Sheeva as she lifts her right hand and looks at her wrist. Moxi splits to the left as I run to the right. I firmly plant my foot into the ground and push off towards her. I throw a punch as hard as I can, but blink and hit the ground. I see her foot on the back of my still clenched fist as she ducks and Moxi falls forward over her. "You are both sloppy. Again." She demands as she kicks me in the stomach and knocks me back a few feet. I cough and wince in pain as I stand up. The pain slowly dissipates as I start to charge her again. I quickly throw a few wild punches as she easily evades them by slightly leaning another direction. I keep attacking, hoping to distract her enough for Moxi to get behind her. As my eyes look behind her for a split second, I see Moxi jumping towards her from behind. I almost start to smile, but quickly feel my face turn to panic as Moxi in the next instant in on the ground with Sheeva's foot on his throat and her fingers pressed against my throat. As a bead of sweat rolls down my face, I stare into Sheeva's eyes. "Good plan for weaklings, but against a being with any level of energy sensory, it would never work. Again." She demands once more as she puts the top of her foot under Moxi's back and kicks him towards me. He slams into me as we both hit the ground. As I hit the ground, my head slams against the stone floor. I feel my vision go blurry as distorted as I stand up without thinking. A weird warm feeling wells up from my heart as I run towards Sheeva, my vision slowly clearing up. As I start to throw a punch, I feel a sharp pain in my chest. I see I'm off the ground, and Sheeva's fist embedded in my chest. I couch up a little blood as I feel a sharp pain ripping through me. "There, that should get your body going." Sheeva says, looking behind me. As I slowly look back, forcing myself not to scream out from the immense pain, I see black energy flowing off of Moxi. "That's going to far." Moxi says. As I see him angry for the first time ever. A loud crack sends a ringing sound through my ears as I fall to the ground. Almost instantly after I hit the ground, I see Moxi land on the ground next to me. As I look at him, I see his arms are both broken and bloody. Fragments of bone pushing through his ripped flesh. His blonde hair slightly slides away revealing his bleeding eyes. An image you'd only see in a horror film engraved into my mind. As anger and sadness flow through me, I feel a burning sensation overtake all the pain I'm feeling. As I stand up, I look directly as Sheeva. Her cold stare piercing through me. As I take a deep breath and close my eyes, I feel my body become lighter. I quickly dash towards Sheeva and reach her much faster than I previously did. As I throw a punch as hard as I can, she slaps my hand away. As my body leans to the right from the momentum of my fist, I See Sheeva jump into the air and spin in a circle. Her foot swiftly comes toward my face as I blink. Before I can react, I feel a slight impact. I quickly jolt awake in the bed once more. I look around the room and stumble out of bed and into the hallway, remembering the condition Moxi was in. I quickly push the door open for the room he was in, to find he isn't in there. I quickly stumble down to the lobby and see a maid cleaning. "Hey, you, where is my friend? Where is Moxi?!" I say as I reach towards her. The maid quickly grabs my wrist. "It's rude to try to touch ladies you don't know. If you were not under the grace of Lady Adamace, I would execute you where you stand. But if you're curious where your friend is, he's outside training." The maid says as I quickly walk outside a look around. I quickly walk off onto the stone path and follow it behind the house to a large black dome. As I open the door and walk in, I see Moxi gasping for breath and bleeding from his knuckles, with Sheeva sitting on a bench behind him reading a book. "Ah, Malick. We've been waiting for you. I see your injuries have healed up nicely. A perk from the demon powers you have awakened, yes?" She says as she quickly looks over to me from the corner of her eyes. "What happened? How did I get back inside?" I ask as Moxi laughs. As I look at him, I see his knuckles are healed. "Well Malick, you got knocked out by Sheeva. She took good care of you though." Moxi says while smiling. "So, what kind of training is this?" I ask, feeling relieved that Moxi is fine. "You see that stone right there?" Moxi asks as he points towards a large white stone tablet. "Sheeva has channeled her energy into it, our new training is trying to crack or break it. So far, I can't even leave a scratch on it." Moxi says as he pops his knuckles and stretches a bit. Sheeva stands up and walks past me. "You won't leave this room until you break that stone." Sheeva says as she vanishes. The door behind me slams shut as I sigh and walk to Moxi. "So, all we have to do is break this?" I ask as Moxi laughs. "Easier said than done." Moxi says as I run up to the tablet and punch it as hard as I can. A sharp pain rips through my hand as my knuckles rip back through my flesh. I yell out in pain as I fall to the ground holding my hand. After a few seconds my hand heals, bones sliding back into place and flesh mending in a way that defies my imagination. "This is unreal." I mumble as I stand up. "I'm no longer human."
