Moxi and I quickly run out the door, following the maid. She walks back inside the house and hums lightly to herself as we follow her up 3 different staircases. On the third floor I see a long hallway with a single room with black decorations down the hallway. As we follow the maid to the door, she stops and bows towards the door. "They have cracked the level one stone, my lady." The maid says as the door creaks open a bit. The maid quickly looks to us. "She says you may enter." The maid says as Moxi laughs. "Well, for first, she didn't say anything. And secondly, why does it feel like I'm meeting someone for a drug deal." Moxi says as we both start to laugh. As a slight chuckle leaves my mouth, I get pushed back. I see Sheeva blocking the maid. "That's enough." Sheeva says as the maid slowly walks away. Sheeva quickly looks toward Moxi and glares at him. "Whereas you may be a prodigy in combat, you are quite the fool when it comes to using your tongue. Learn to hold your tongue and you'll be much better off." Sheeva says with a hint of displeasure in her voice. She raises her arm and points towards the door. Moxi and I walk through the door and see a large room with a back wall being made entirely of glass. A few bookshelves line the wall to our right. The left wall has a C.P.I. machine that the main DAHC base had. The glass wall has a deck in front of it with paperwork on it. "Sadly, this is where I fill out the paperwork I'm given. I've brought you both here for two reasons. First to check your strength." Sheeva says as she points to the machine. Moxi quickly runs over and scans himself. "It says 31." Moxi says as I scan myself next. The number 35 appears across the screen. "I received a 35." I say as Sheeva sighs. "I hate to have to throw weaklings into a squad, but they should train you well." Sheeva says as she sits down at her desk and starts looking through paperwork. "I'll let you choose which team you want to be on, there are several openings." Sheeva says as she lays down 4 sheets of paper. Moxi and I walk over to her desk and start looking at paperwork. "Phoenix Company, 2 openings, C.P.I. Average 230. That seems a little too high for us." I say as Moxi looks at one. "Hell-Raze Company, 3 openings, C.P.I Average 308. This seems great." Moxi says as I sigh. I quickly grab another sheet of paper. "Last Salvation Company, openings 2, C.P.I Average 128." I mumble as I hear Moxi read off the last sheet. "Kings Company, they have 2 openings, and their C.P.I is averaged at 480. I'm thinking no for this one." Moxi says while looking at me. "I think we should try to join this one." I say as I hand Moxi the paper. "Last Salvation Company, huh?" Moxi says as I see Sheeva looking at a few other sheets of paper. "As the General of The Entire DAHC, it is my job to assign the recruits I see potential in to where I believe they could grow the most. If it was up to me, I'd put you both in this squad." She says as she places another sheet of paper on the table. As Moxi and I look at the paper we both stare at it in disbelief. "Godspeed Company, 2 openings, Average C.P.I 2,036." Moxi and I both say at the same time. As we look at Sheeva we see her staring at us. "You already know a member of that team. That's the team Sorin is in." She says as I shake my head. "I think I'm going with Last Salvation." I say as Moxi nods in agreeance. "Then that settles it, I'll fill out the paperwork to get you two on their team. Most likely I'll have to send for a transport to get you there." She says as I tilt my head slightly. "Why couldn't you just take us? Aren't you incredibly fast?" I ask as Sheeva sighs. "Your bodies haven't built up enough strength to withstand highspeed travel. You need to understand I can run roughly a thirtieth the speed of light if I need too, but it is strenuous." Sheeva says as I nod. "Oh, that makes sense." I say as she vanishes. "So' wait, she's not teleporting?" I mumble as she reappears. "Sadly, not many humans can teleport, it takes a lot of energy to break down your body to pure energy then warp reality to an extent to place your energy in another location. Then to reform your body further pushes it. All generals can teleport, but it still takes a lot out of us. I can teleport easily if it's over short differences, but I move fast enough, I can get anywhere relatively easily." Sheeva says as she starts filling out paper work. "It was nice assessing you both, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other again soon." She says as I look at her confused. "What do you mean by tha-" a bright white light suddenly wraps around Moxi and I and I feel it flowing through my body. My body feels tight, almost like a heavy force weighing down on me. As I fall down to my knees, I feel everything go back to normal. "Aw, well damn. No girl recruits." I hear a man say in front of me. I quickly stand up and look forward to see a man staring at us. He has slit pupil blue eyes and short spiky blue hair. "I wish we could get some more women. Particularly younger ones." He says as he closes his eyes and smiles creepily. "Stop with your perversion!" I hear a woman scream as she jumps over me and kicks him in the face. She has short messy red hair with white tips with soft green eyes. "You're making us look bad in front of the recruits!" She yells as she looks at us. "Besides, they're both cute." She says with an even creepier smile.
