I'm floating through the darkness. A void of pitch black darkness so thick I, that can't see past my ribs and elbows. As I quickly look around, hoping for some shred of light. A sensation streaks across my whole body. Not pain, just a light touch. My body warms up as the darkness slowly lifts off my body. I float further through the void, now able to see my whole body. "To think, this is what he used that energy for. Highly intriguing, but foolish to give it to a child." A female voice says as my skin aches. I feel as though the voice rips me apart, cell by cell. I try to speak, but I have no voice. I try to think to myself, but even my thoughts seem silent. "There is potential, but it may kill him. I will watch from afar." The voice says as I feel my body go numb. I stare into the void, my mind going blank and wandering over my memories. I remember the man who appeared after I defeated one of the knights. "Who?" I manage to mumble as I see a spinning white light appear in front of me. As I blink, the light rushes towards me. A few blinks and I see a white ceiling above me. I clench my fist and feel that I have a blanket on me. I quickly look around then sit up. I stare at the woman standing beside me. "Oh, you're awake. You healed much faster than I expected." The woman that took Atlas to her leader. The woman who easily overpowered Aziria and Atlas smile as she places the back of her hand against my forehead. "All back to normal, or, as normal as you can get now." She says as she walks out of the room. As I start to stand up, I place my left arm on the edge of the bed. A sharp pain causes me to grab my left arm and bite my lip to stop from screaming. I see several red streaks and bumps all over my left arm. "A very potent curse." A man says beside me. As I look to my left, I see a man sitting in a chair staring at me. "How long have you been sitting there?" I ask as he closes his eyes. "A few days now, I wanted to make sure you didn't die suddenly in your sleep." He says as he stands up. He has spikey black hair with a very fancy black suit on. A locket rests on his chest as he walks towards me, his dark red eyes looking to me. "A curse from using too much energy. Your energy pathways are permanently damaged." He says as he points to my right hand. "Your right arm was forced to heal and adapt to the energy, quite quickly if I might add. However, your left was not given any time to adapt. I'm sure you weren't aware of it when I arrived, but you had no left arm for a while. I had to heal it to the best of my ability, but the curse inflicted upon your left arm was quite severe." The man says as I stare at him in shock. "But, did I manage to kill one of the knights?" I ask as he smiles and nods. "Why, of course, you did. But the cost was quite severe. If I had not been there, you would have been consumed by energy." The man says as I look at my right hand. A blue marking is permanently engraved in my hand. "What is this?" I ask as he walks close to me and touches my hand. "This is proof." He says as I look to him. "Proof of what?" I ask as he smiles and puts his hands in his pockets. "Proof that you are the being we wish to acquire. You are very unique; you possess an energy that defies the very gods themselves." The man says as I stand up. "Who are you?' I ask as he frowns slightly. "I forget my manners, I am Raizel Salamace. Lord of Terminus." He says as he stares at me. "Terminus." I mumble as I swing my right hand towards him. He sighs and looks to my hand. My hand stops a few inches from his face, almost restrained by an invisible force. "That seems rude, to attack the man who saved you and your world." Raizel says as I strain to push my fist towards him. "You want to kill all humans! Why would I believe you saved my world?" I ask as I grit my teeth. "I do not wish to only kill humans. Yes, they are a plague on any world they exist on, yet they are quite resourceful." Raizel says as I stare at him. "Then what is your true mission?" I ask as Raizel smiles and my hands return to my control. I clench my fist as Raizel stares at me. "I wish to subjugate the mortal races, and ascend to the throne of a chief deity." He says as I stare at him. "That's insane, chief deities are the strongest there are, right?" I ask as he nods. "I have already absorbed the power of a thousand universes, but the dormant power inside of you is stronger than I am. It is terrifying, yet highly intoxicating for me. I will gladly give you a place on Terminus, right beside me as we ascend to rule over everything." Raizel says as he offers me his hand. "I decline, I would never turn against the human race for such a stupid goal." I say as I slap his hand away. "I will not force you to join us, but know humans will betray you in time. As for that curse on your arm, as well as the tracer I placed on you, I will remove those from you. Think of it as a gift, a release from infinite suffering. If I do not remove the curse, it will spread over your body, until your entire body is in constant agony." Raizel says as he opens his palm and holds out his hand. "Let me remove the curse and the tracer." He says as I begrudgingly place my left hand on his hand. Before I can react, he's ripped my left arm off and seared the wound so it doesn't bleed. "Until we meet again, I leave you with this. You have the potential to dethrone the very heavens, yet you choose to stay on the ground. Consider my offer for something greater." Raizel says as I fall backward and land on hard concrete. As I scream and look around, I see I'm back at Last Salvations base, and they are all staring at me shocked and scared.
