Still breathing heavily, the three people on the roof jump down and start walking towards us. Two men and one woman. "Captain, I seem to owe you 500 dollars." A woman says as the man in the middle smiles. The woman on his left has short brown hair and two swords on her hips. The man to his left has long black hair and several knives strapped to his person. The woman and man on the left and right both have on red and white uniforms, while the man in the middle has on a u-neck long-sleeved black shirt and baggy black pants. A short sword is strapped to the back of his waist. A small breeze ruffles his messy and spikey red hair as he smiles gleefully and closes his eyes. "I'm actually surprised you survived. I was sure getting impaled would've put you out for a bit, color me impressed." The man in the middle says as he suddenly appears in front of me and looks at the hole in my shirt where I was injured. "Captain." The woman says while staring at us. "He looks over his shoulder and waves his hand back and forth while smiling. "Sorry, your name was Malick, correct?" He asks while looking at me. "Uh, yes, that is correct." I force myself to sound respectful and proud. He laughs as he looks at Zalca's dead body. "To think you managed to draw blood against a 1st release demon." He says as he looks at Moxi. "And you must be Moxi." He says as Moxi nods. "That was very impressive, you have excellent body control, to pull that attack off while not even on the ground. For rookies, you two are quite adept at fighting already." He says as Attira coughs behind me. As I look back, I see her coughing up a little blood. As I start to move, the man next to me speaks up. "Leena, heal her." He demands as the woman with him walks to Attira and lays her back on the ground. As she holds up her hands to Attira's throat, green energy flows around them. "So, her name is Leena." I mumble as I look back to the man in front of me. "What's your name?" I ask as he tilts his head slightly. His gold eyes seem to look through me as he smiles. "My name is Rokkan Marus. A pleasure to finally meet you." He says as I raise an eyebrow. "Finally meet me? You know about me?" I ask as he laughs. "Everyone in the DAHC with a decent rank heard of the rookie who somehow unlocked a dark side. Even though humans with demonic energy can't really unlock a dark side." He says as he scratches his chin. "What do you mean by that?" I ask as he looks at the clouds. "Hmm, I guess the best way to explain it, humans can't handle the sudden strain a dark side exerts on their body. You are an enigma, truly. Too unlock a dark side, and not disintegrate under the pressure, quite impressive." He says with a warm smile. "Maybe one day you'll be strong enough to even fight me." He says happily as I smirk. "And what makes you think we couldn't spar now?" I ask with a cocky sneer. Rokkan looks over his shoulder to the man near him. The man sighs. "We have some free time, captain." He says as Rokkan clenches his fist and smiles. "I haven't got to spar in a while. Thanks, Leon!" He says as the other man sighs. "Just don't get carried away, sir." Leon says as I wipe a little blood from my lip and pull up my hands. As I tighten my abs, a shooting pain brings me to my knees. I cough up a little blood. "Damn, guess I haven't fully recovered." I mumble as I squint and hold my stomach where I got rammed through. Rakkon helps me stand and sighs. "Guess that means no sparing. Sad, but you rest and heal. Next time we meet we'll spar." he says with a gleeful smile. "Leena, Leon, we're moving out." He says as I tap his shoulder. "What is your company name?" I ask as he smiles. "Oh, I guess you are still new after all. We are called the Blight Company." He says as he waves then vanishes. His two companions vanish seconds later. As I sigh, I get punched on the top of the head. "Ow, what was that for?" I ask as I look at Lastis. "For picking a fight with Rakkon, I blame myself for not teaching you more." He says as he sighs. "Don't you know the upper structure of the DAHC?" Lastis asks as I nod. "Vale is Lieutenant General, Nixon is the second rank of General, and Sheeva is General of the entire DAHC." I say as Lastis sighs. "Well, You're not technically wrong. You're just missing some info. The other 2 General positions. Rank five General belongs to our Brigadier General, Cherry Ashwood. Our fourth rank General belongs to Daive Moros." Lastis says as I stare at him. "So why did you punch me? You had me thinking Rakkon was going to be a General." I say with a sigh of relief. "Not quite. To be a General in the DAHC, you have to be equally intelligent as you are strong. Considering the only reason Rakkon isn't a general is because he isn't that smart, you should know not too spar with him. Especially since he's beaten Vale in a sparring match. Of course, they both held back, but that still says a lot about Rakkon." Lastis says as my jaw drops slightly. "So, Rakkon, that guy, is as strong as Vale?" I ask as Lastis nods. "Hard to believe he's only 16." Fallyn says while still laying on the ground. I hear a dragging sound behind Lastis, so I quickly look behind him. I see Attira struggling to stand up. I quickly help her up. "But no matter, let's recover a bit, then we'll go celebrate. Just like I promised." Lastis says as I see people from the corner of my eye. No one else turns to look at them, but I see several people glaring at us from the edge of the gas station, clearly angry. A white light wraps around us for a second as we appear back at our base. Did we somehow hurt those people? also, what did Lastis do to the old man? I think as I look at Lastis.
