"I can't believe my punch did that." I say as Moxi laughs. "Your punch didn't do that, that was the shockwave from your punch. You missed the planet entirely." Moxi says as he laughs. "Really a scary guy." He says as I feel a hand on my shoulder. As I look back I see Azura looking at me, almost sad. "Are you ok?" She asks as I slap her hand off my shoulder. "Fine, just thinking." I say as I feel my heart pounding. I need more power. I WANT more power. I think as Azura turns me around. "Craving power will lead you down a dark power if you crave it without a goal." She says as I glare at her. I see her almost flinch as her eyes meet mine. "Malick that's the fragment of Ragnarok talking. It'll drive you to crave more power." Moxi says as I look over to him. I sigh and pull myself away from Azura. "Malick, I've see what corruption can come from seeking power." Aziria says as I laugh. I feel my blood start pumping as blue and purple energy wraps around my fist. "If you truly feel that way, then stop me." I say as I look over my shoulder. I channel my energy almost by muscle memory and enter my first release. The purple and blue energy forming a gauntlet of bone on my hand. "Stop this." Zen says as he reaches out to grab my shoulder. "Son, it's not worth i-" I punch him in the head and throw him out of view. The shockwave from the punch ripping the planet apart. "Ragnarok is amping his Darkside!" Azura says as Moxi laughs. "Man that was a good punch." He says as he floats beside me. "Moxi! Help us bring Malick down!" Azura says as Moxi laughs. "I'm on Malick's side, I could care less for you all. Malick is my only true friend." He says as I stare at Azura. "Damnit, I don't know how to stop this. Ragnarok is amping him higher than any of us. He's just as strong as her pet was." I hear Azura say without her lips moving. "What do you mean I'm as strong as Ragnaroks pet?" I ask as her eyes widen. "His energy is high enough to read my thoughts? No. Impossible." She says without moving her lips once again. Moxi laughs. "Like I said, I'm on Malicks side." He says as he floats behind me. A sudden murderous intent floods all my senses as a feeling of fear overcomes me. "But you aren't Malick." As I look back I see Moxi's fist is wrapped in black energy. His blonde hair is pitch black once again. Before I can react his punch hits my face. I'm floating through darkness once again as all my emotions return. "Why was I acting that way? I'm not that emo." I mumble to myself as I see a woman with purple hair in front of me. "Alright, your survival wasn't a fluke." She says as I stare at her. "Who are you. And how are you in my mind?" I ask as she laughs. "I'm Ragnarok, but you won't remember that when you wake up. But any questions you might have, I'll gladly answer." She says as I speak up. "Why was I so emotionless a second ago?" I ask as she nods. "Everytime you use my power, I absorb some of your emotions. A fair trade in my eyes." She says as I grit my teeth. "Throughout the eons I've been alive, any person blessed with my power goes mad and power hungry. It's only a matter of time before your will caves in and you leave behind a legacy of fear and death. Leaving ruin and regret in your wake." She says as I clench my fists. "But I am fair, and I do love a good game." She says as I stare at her. "What are you talking about?" I ask as she sighs and summons a blue and purple sword. "I'll make you a deal. Defeat me in a fight and I'll let you use the power given to you freely, without siphoning your emotions." She says as I ready my fists. "But here, your total strength is based off of your will power." She says as I run towards her and throw a punch. My arm disintegrates as it reaches her. Blood pours from my shoulder as I scream in pain. "And with my goals, my willpower is unmatched. Or, it was. My will was nothing to Kai. That's why I agreed to train him." She says as she swings her sword by my throat and cuts it slightly. "But I enjoy a good hunt as well. So how about this also. If you either beat me, or survive 1 week in this world, I'll let you use my energy for whatever you desire. Does that sound more fair?" She says as my arm regenerates. "But if at any point you die, or lose this game, rage and thirst for power will overtake you. You will be nothing but a shell of power and rage." She says as I begrudgingly nod. "If I didn't agree, you'd kill me anyways, wouldn't you?" I ask as she nods. "Awh. Look at that, you're learning." She says as the black void turns into a town with mountains along the edge. "The longest one hundred and sixty eight hours of your life are about to commence. I'll give you ten minutes to get your mind straight, find a weapon, or hide. Goodluck." She says as I bolt away from her into several buildings. I see several weapons on tables, but also several hiding spots. For some reason, my mind is drawn to a short sword with jagged edges and a hand guard. As I pick up the weapon I try to calm myself. "I can't lose this. This isn't a friendly bout, this is life and death, everything is on the line." I mumble as I force myself to steady my breathing. "If not to ask my mother all the questions I have, I also have to survive for Moxi. I won't leave my best friend Alone!" I yell as I walk outside and see her leaning against her sword reading a book. The book turns to dust in her hands as she pulls her sword from the dirt. "Then let's begin."
