Following The Mech

While we're all following the large mech, it walks into a large body of water. It's chest down are fully submerged, but its shoulders and head stick out of the water. It continues to march forward, unyielding against the waves of water crashing against it. "Well damn, how do we follow it now?" Fallyn asks as Aziria jumps onto the water. She stands on the water, like it's solid ground. "I can carry two of you." Aziria says as Ayumi grabs me and Moxi. "I can carry these two." Ayumi says as Attira, Fallyn, and Lastis look at each other. Aziria sighs and gets down in piggyback position. "Just all of you get on. You'll all be incredibly light." Aziria says as Fallyn gets on her first, then putting his arms in piggyback formation. Lastis gets on Fallyn back, and Attira looks at me. She pouts slightly then gets on Lastis's back. Before I can turn around, Ayumi slings Moxi and I over her shoulders. "Let's follow them!" Moxi yells as Ayumi and Aziria start running over the water, clearly going slow for our sake. We follow the large mech for several minutes before it walks out of the water onto a large metal ramp. It stands straight up onto a flat metal platform. A loud boom rattles me as the platform starts lowering. We quickly jump onto the platform as another platform closes above us. We land softly, even though we fell a few hundred feet. As we lower down, we get put down and we stand next to the foot of the large mech. As the platform reaches the bottom, to our knowledge, a loud boom echo's as the front of the mech's foot opens up. "Good job Hargrave, you're the best god damn mech pilot we have." An older man says as he walks towards the man who stepped out. "It was no problem at all, sir! Just doing my job to protect the people." Hargrave says as Ayumi growls slightly. "I hate humans so much." She mumbles as Fallyn stumbles forward somehow, revealing himself to the humans. Before he can say anything, several hundred weapons are drawn, and trained on him. "How did you get in here?" The older man asks as he walks towards us. "Shit." Moxi mumbles as Lastis steps out from behind the mech with his hands up. "We almost got stepped on in the city a few minutes ago, we were curious why our lives were threatened." Lastis says as the older man stares at him. "Who all is we?" The man asks as we all step out from behind the foot. "Uh, hi?" Moxi says, trying to be friendly. None of the weapons aimed at us are put down as the older man turns around. "The Xalars must have sent them. Execute this filth, traitors to the human race." He says as Ayumi steps forward. "So, does this mean you are threatening Malick?" She asks as the old man turns around, confused. "Who is Malick? Is that your leader?" He asks as she nods. "I follow Malick." She says as she points to me. "Just had to rope me into this even more, didn't you?" I ask as Aziria laughs. "Joking about when guns are aimed at you, the confidence in life you must have." Aziria says as Lastis quickly bows. "I'm sorry for asking, but what is a Xalar? Is that a group of rogue humans?" He asks as the older man waves his hand. As all the guns lower, he walks towards us. "So, you truly do not know? I am terribly sorry, but when you lied about almost getting stepped on I ju-" Moxi quickly cuts the man off. "That part wasn't a lie, the being curious about being threatened was." Moxi says as the old man looks at us. "So why search us out?" The old man asks as Aziria sighs. "We're going to solve whatever problem you have." She says as the man looks around. A few seconds later the room busts out in laughter. "You think you could solve the problem that not even our strongest mech could solve? You must be joking." The man quickly goes from joking to dead serious. "Now explain to me why we shouldn't imprison you for life?" The man says as Ayumi looks at the mech next to us. "This is the strongest construct you humans could create?" She asks as the man glares at her. "Yes, what do you mean by 'You humans', Exactly?" He asks as she looks at him. "I'm not a human. I'm the Dragon Queen, Ayumi Tiamat. You should be grateful that I don't force this pitiful world to its knees." She says as he looks at Hargrave. "Please, detain this woman." He says as Hargrave steps forward. "Sorry pretty lady, but orders are orders." Hargrave says as he lifts his hands and gets into a fighting stance. "Your energy is so pitiful, how can such a weak creature exist, and have no intelligence for challenging obviously stronger beings?" Ayumi asks as Hargrave sneers. "Bitch." He mumbles as he throws a punch towards Ayumi. She catches his fist with one hand and glares at him. "Kneel before me, and you may yet live." Ayumi demands as Hargrave struggles his best to pull his hand away. Ayumi smiles wickedly and completely crushes the poor man's hand. He screams as loud as he can as she grabs his wrist. As she moves away from his hand and towards his wrist, the powder that was his bones seeps from his ripped and mangled flesh. "Kneel." Ayumi says as Hargrave falls to his hand and knees, crying and screaming loudly. "Good dog." Ayumi mumbles as Hargrave turns to ash. "And as for this waste of space." Ayumi says as she places her hand against the mech. "It too is weak, just like the human race." Ayumi says as the entire mech turns to ash and seemingly disappears from existence. "Now, to appeal to Malick, I will spare the rest of you. If, you tell me where those monsters are coming from." Ayumi says as the old man falls back, shaking in fear. I notice Aziria glaring at Ayumi.
