Lastis quickly stretches his arms and legs and looks at us. "You may attack when whenever you're ready." He says as he readies his fists. Moxi and I both charge him at the same time, crisscrossing each other to throw him off. He doesn't even look at us as he dodged both of our punches and pushes us both back. He's much faster than the others. I think as Moxi runs behind him and nods to me then Lastis's legs. I smile as I run towards Lastis and ready my punch. I smirk as I jump in the air and punch down towards him. As he steps to the side, I see Moxi kicking towards his legs. As I blink, I see his boot on Moxi's knee. Moxi grunts in pain and Lastis jumps back away from us. He stares down at us as we both get ready to attack again. "Like Raven." I hear Moxi mumble as I smile. "Right." I whisper as we start running towards Lastis. Moxi moves to the right about 2 feet from me as I get ready to throw a punch. As I see Lastis, preemptively start to lean away, I kick my own knee in about a foot from him. I see his eyes widen as I swing at his legs while falling over. As he jumps up over my arm, Moxi punches from the other side towards his face. Lastis leans back and dodges midair, but is then falling down on his back. Before he hits the ground, I raise my arm that was still in mid swing, and bring it down on his chest. As he hits the ground with a hard slam, a little dirt gets thrown up. "That's game, Lastis." I say as he laughs. "Neither Attira or Fallyn could land a hit on me. I am quite impressed that you managed to hit me." He says as my knee heals and I stand up. I offer my hand to help him up. He quickly grabs my hand and stands up then looks at me. "Now that we have a full team that can actually fight properly with teamwork, we can go do that stack of missions we've been holding onto." He says as Attira yells out in happiness. "Yay! Our first mission in 2 weeks." She says while dancing. "So, what kind of missions will we be doing?" Moxi asks excitedly. "Hunting jobs, cleaning, detainment, containment, and a few others. We usually deal with the weaker demons and angels that leak into this world. The stronger people are too busy and too good to deal with such insignificant troubles." Lastis says as I smile. "Oooh, when do we get to go hunting? That sounds fun." I say as Moxi nods in agreeance. "Firstly we need to get you both weapons." Attira says as we look at her. "We need weapons? Like guns?" Moxi asks as she nods. "Knives, swords, poles, staves, guns, just whatever your good with. The most common weapons are guns and swords." She says as I scratch my neck. "So where do we get our weapons?" I ask as Lastis laughs lightly. "First, we need to see your C.P.I, then from that, we can find a weapon that can withstand your energy." Lastis says as he starts walking back inside the building. As we follow him, I speak up. "So not all weapons can withstand our energy?" I ask as he shakes his head. "All inanimate objects have an energy limit. The DAHC has the means to create weapons with much higher limits than other items. Where a normal knife could support 70 or 80 C.P.I, a DAHC crafted knife may be able to withstand thousands of times that." Lastis says as he leads us to a room with a C.P.I reader. I quickly walk up and scan myself once more. 36 flashes on the screen and everyone sees it. "Only 36? I thought for sure you would've been much higher than that." Lastis says as Moxi scans himself. 39 flashes onto the screen as Lastis sighs. Fallyn scans himself, then Attira. The numbers 83 then 80 flash after they scan. "Wait I thought the average for this group was 128?" I ask as Lastis scans himself. The number 221 flashes on the screen as he looks at me. "Well, now our average is around 91 or 92." Lastis says as I sigh. "So, we brought you guys down?" I ask as he nods. "Looks that way, but somehow you both seem to be better at fighting that Attira or Fallyn. But on the same note, they never went full out against me. They are both lazy." He says as Fallyn growls. "I prefer the term passive rather than lazy." Fallyn growls as Lastis laughs. "Still means lazy in my book. But back to the subject at hand, as long as our rating is above 85, we can take on F class demons." Lastis says as I look at him. "F class? What is that?" I ask as he looks back at me. "Demons and angels that are on the hunt list are often categorized by a letter grade, much like you would receive in school. F class beings have a C.P.I of 45 to 110. D class beings have a C.P.I of 110 to 300. C class beings are 300 to 800. B class beings are 800 to 2,000. Single-A class beings are 2,000 to 60,000. AA class beings are from 60,000 to 1,000,000. AAA class beings are rated from 1,000,000 to 20,000,000. There are very few beings above the AAA rating, but above Triple-A is S rating. Double-S and Triple-S both describe beings that are threats to multiple universes. X class beings are what we've come to know as the upper beings." Lastis says as I look at him confused. "Threats to multiple universes? Upper beings?" I ask as he nods. "The Scarlet Angel is an example of an upper-class being we know of. By what we have been told from them DAA, he is in charge of this plane of existence. We have also been told there are trillions of other universes in this plane of existence. The DAHC is slowly trying to explore other universes, but we need a considerable amount of energy to break through a universe barrier. We have devices to explore other universes that we obtained from demons we have killed and harvested." Lastis says as he sighs. "In this plane of existence, we are specs. All we can hope to do is defend our way of life. Humans are truly nothing but insects to demons and angels." Lastis says as he closes his eyes.
