The Mall

Maya's POV

Everyone was sitting around the table the next day going over the details for tomorrow. The wedding was going to be on the beach tomorrow at 7:00 right around sunset. It was only going to be a few people that lived around here at the wedding.

"Okay tomorrow everyone needs to dress nice," Zoey said, "Maya and Riley you need to wear dresses and Farkle and Lucas you guys need to wear nice shirts."

"I didn't bring any nice clothes out with me," Lucas said.

"I didn't bring any either," Farkle said.

"Riley and I can go out shopping for them today," I said.

"Okay," Zoey said.

"Why can't we pick out our own clothes?" Farkle asked.

"Men can never dress themselves for special things like this," Zoey said.

"Are you guys having a dinner afterwords?" Riley asked.

"Nothing fancy just some steaks and things like that," my dad said.

"What about decorations?" Lucas asked.

"Can you guys hang up the lights and put candles out again like the other night?" my dad asked.

"Sure," Farkle and Lucas said.

"Great everything is settled," Zoey said getting up, "Maya can you and Riley go out shopping now."

"Sure," Maya.

My dad drove us to the mall and went into some random store while Riley and I went into a clothing store.

"What color are you wearing tomorrow?" Riley asked once we got to the ties.

"Why?" I asked.

"So you guys can match," Riley says.

"I'm wearing the red dress I got from the boardwalk," I said.

"Okay we need to figure out what color Tess is wearing too," Riley said picking up ties.

"I'll text Farkle," I said pulling out my phone and texting him.

"Should I get Toby a tie?"

"He came out here to help his uncle with fishing you think he brought a tie."

"No I guess I we should get him one."

"What color are you wearing tomorrow?"

"Purple."

"So get him a purple tie," my phone went off it was Farkle, "Tess is wearing blue so we need to get Farkle a blue tie."

"Okay what about this one for Farkle," Riley said holding a tie up.

"Good and this one for Lucas," I said holding up a tie.

"Okay now this one will work for Toby," Riley said, "Okay we just need to get them a shirt and pants."

Riley and I got them all black shirts and pants in there sizes. We then went over to the food court and got some frozen yogurt.

"How are things going with you an Toby?" I asked once we were sitting down.

"Great and he's moving to New York in two weeks," Riley said smiling.

"Riley that's awesome," I said eating my yogurt.

"He's this amazing guy who totally gets me and I get him," Riley explains.

"The great I'm really happy for you," I said.

"How are things with you and Lucas?" Riley asked.

"Amazing," I smiled.

Riley smiled, "How so?"

"He's so caring and kind. Like yesterday he didn't mind staying inside with me watching movies. Lucas even acts all dorky around me and he knows I love that. I just love being around him."

"Do you love him?"

I smiled, "Yeah."

"Has he said I love you yet?"

"Not yet but I think he's waiting for the right moment to say something."

"Maybe that moment is tomorrow."

"Maybe," I said.

"We should probably go find your dad," Riley said getting up.
