SAERON'S POV

I was sitting in the guest room tapping my feet on the ground repeatedly.

I stood up.

"That's right. I'm leaving."

I walked out and was on my way out when I heard someone call my name.

I turned around and saw Jungkook running towards me. He was shirtless.

I could feel my heart skip a beat.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I'm going home." I stated.

"But what about your father? What if he returns?"

"Then I'll deal with it."

"Why? I told you that I'd help you."

"I don't need your help Jungkook. I really appreciate the offer but you've done enough for me already. I'll be taking my leave now."

I started walking away but was yanked back by Jungkook.

He pulled me against his chest. Our faces were mere centimeters away as we stared into each other's eyes.

My face flushed and I felt butterflies in the pit of my stomach.

"Jungkook, you're sweating. I'm clean. So let me go."

"Promise me something."

"What?"

"If something happens, come to me first."

"What?" I asked still registering his words.

"Come to me first. Okay?"

I nodded.

"Now let me go."

He sighed before letting go of my wrist.

I walked out and back to my home.

I touched my lips suddenly remembering last night.

He kissed me. I kissed him. We made out.

I smiled to myself.

I knew the truth now. The truth behind my feelings. My true feelings.

I have romantic feelings for him. I like him.

The way I felt last night when he touched me proved it.

And I can't help but want more.

I walked into my house. Luckily there was no one there.

I sighed in relief. I wasn't ready to face my father.

At least not yet.

I took out my phone and called Min Ji.

"Saeron? Is that you?"

"Yeah. Who else would be calling you from my phone?"

"Oh. Sorry. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. I was just wondering if you could come over. I really need to vent."

"Oh. So you only want me around when you need someone huh?"

"No. That's not -"

"Relax girl. I was kidding. I'll be there in ten."

She hung up and I giggled to myself.

"Classic Min Ji."

I dragged her to my bedroom as soon as she arrived.

"Okay. Calm down. Now vent. I'm actually really interested in what you have to say. Since your life changed drastically in the last few days."
