Chapter 49: One Short Day

By Saturday, the Yaoyorozou Household was extremely crowded.

Apparently, when the rest of the class found out that Momo and Henri accepted to tutor the Dekusquad, they wanted to come, too.

Which is why the hall was so lively, with at least 13 teens huddling to their textbooks and the rest of them just tagging along. All of them were crowding around Momo and Henri.

Turns out, the two of them are pretty good at teaching. Plus, they seem to have endless patience

However, it seems that Henri is also asking Momo to tutor him in Classical Japanese, too.

"Why would you even want to be tutored, Hic?", Nagisa gave the brunette a pointed stare. "You're plenty smart already. I'm sure you'll be fine!"

"I'm half-German, Nagisa, and I spent 4 years in Germany", Henri explained. "My grammar would probably suck by now..."

"Aw, come on!", Adette nudged him by the arm as she held the book meant for Science and Technology. "You're the one who occasionally spoke in Japanese by mistake back in Middle School!"

"Yes, but writing it down is a different story."

"Sie schienen immer gut in Kanji zu schreiben..."

"Adette, please..."

Kaede shook her head fondly. "Those two are meant for each other."

"I know, right?", Mina gushed.

Ochako casually flicked her forehead, which earned a squeak from the pink-skinned girl. "Give them a break, you guys."

Later on, when noon came and they were about to leave, Katsuki suddenly approached Nagisa and reminded him. "Remember that I'm also tutoring you. I'll come over to your house by 3PM, so don't be a ***** about it."

Before the bluenette could respond to that, the explosive blonde had turned his heel and ran towards Eijirou's side.

"Well, that's something you don't see everyday", Karma plopped in to his side as Nagisa continued to stare at Katsuki's back. "You got a new crush, eh? Got over Kaede?"

The bluenette glared at him. "Shut up, Karma."

The redhead stuck his tongue out. "I'm just saying; you should be sure of who you love the most."

He ruffled Nagisa's hair as he started to walk away. "So that you won't regret it later."

The bluenette sighed. He has a point...

Meanwhile, Izuku approached Henri while the brunette was packing up. "Umm...Hic? I have to tell you something."

The brunette turned to the greenette with a concerned smile. "What is it, Izu?"

"Well, I had another dream", Izuku chuckled nervously. "Like from...that dream back at the Internships that I told you guys yesterday."

Henri's eyes widened. "Another vision from one of these timelines Achilla talked about?"

The greenette slowly nodded. Henri took a deep breath before deciding to ask. "D--...do you want to talk about it?"

"...y-yeah."

"...I'm not forcing you, you know. Take your time."

Izuku took a deep breath.

"IZUKU!"
