Alicia's POV

"We need to establish some rules fellas," I said as I entered the kitchen.

Luke walked over to me and wrapped me in his arms. He kissed my temple then let me go. He rounded the counter toward the fridge. Jake was impatiently drumming his fingers on the countertop waiting for his breakfast. He looked at me when I spoke. Luke remained expressionless as he pulled out the eggs and milk and a bowl.

"I agree with you sweetheart." Luke softly spoke. "If the three of us are going to make this work we probably should. So what's on your mind love?" He spoke while getting out a few more ingredients from the kitchen cabinets and began measuring things into the bowl.

"Well, I think first we should talk about how this all happened."

I looked down at my fidgeting fingers splayed across the countertop. Feeling a little guilty that I had sex with both of them only a few minutes apart. Jake moved to my side and gave me a reassuring hug.

"Don't look like that babe. You look ashamed. We don't want you to feel bad about being with both of us. Right, Luke?" He looked at his best friend while he kissed my cheek.

My eyes shot up to meet Luke's. I don't know why but I felt more worried about his feelings than my own.

"He's right Alicia, we both agreed to this late last night. We both talked it out and discovered that neither one of us wanted to end our friendship or lose you in the process of fighting over you. He loves you just as much as I do and we don't want to make you feel like you have to choose between us. This is the only logical choice."

He cracked the eggs in the bowl and began whisking the ingredients together. I saw his eyes sparkle as he turned his head toward me. A subtle smile was curved on his heart-shaped lips.

"I love you, he loves you. Don't be afraid of that. We just have to smooth out some kinks. Right, Jake?" His eyes moved from mine to Jake's and Jake nodded in agreement.

"I just don't want you two to end up fighting because of me," I mumbled and shook my head.

Jake took my hand and squeezed it as he sat in the stool beside me.

"I know I'm a hothead, I have a temper so I know you're probably most concerned with me starting a fight. Am I right?" Jake admitted.

I nodded in agreement. I knew Luke was normally calm and can hold back his feelings but Jake was a firecracker waiting to explode.

"How about we try this, we open a group chat. Linking our conversations together so we all know what our plans are as they come. And you get to be the one to decide when your spending time with whom. There will be no arguments about who you're with. We just work around one another's times." Jake said as he sat confidently in his seat and laced his fingers together.

Luke was nodding in agreement while I was still a little unsure of this plan.

"What if one of you feels like I'm giving one of you're more attention than the other though?" I grumbled. Not realizing my voice sounded a little too skeptical.

Luke was pouring batter into a hot skillet but watching me intently.
He flipped the pancake then turned toward me and Jake.

"It'll take some work and I'm sure there will be some... conflicts. But we all need to remember why we are doing this. To keep each other happy and in Love. Right?" He smiled and his green eyes glowed when he looked at me.
