Alicia's POV
When I got inside Jake's house he made a suggestion.
"Hey, I have a good idea. Why don't we invite Tyler and Idget over to hang out?"
I missed them both and after the day I had, I wanted to be surrounded by my friends. I also had news to share about the pregnancy as well. I was excited about that part of my day. The part about meeting Luke's mom, not so much.
"Yeah, that sounds nice. I'll call Tyler and see what they're up to."
"Cool. And I'll go put your things in my room. I'll empty one of my dressers in the closet for you."
He leaned in for a quick kiss which I happily kissed him back then headed for the breakfast nook and pulled out my cell phone to call Tyler.
Beep... Beep...
Hey, beeotch! What's going on? You okay?
Yeah, I'm fine. How are you Tyler?
I'm good. Kinda bored.
Are you off work today? What is Idget doing?
Yeah, I'm off work. I was going to take Idget to this gaming convention thing that's going on this weekend.
Oh, well... I was wondering if you wanted to bring Idget and come hang out with me and Jake at Jake's house for a bit. I haven't seen you guys since the funeral.
Jake's house? I dunno if Idget will want to.. I mean, you know, because of what Jake did when you two met and all.
Oh, right. Well, do you want to come over if I can get Idget to come over?
Sure. I guess. Or we could all go to the gaming convention.
Tyler, games aren't really my thing. I don't think Jake would be interested either. If it was Comicon I'd be all for it. But you know I suck at games.

Sorry. What about going out shopping?
Actually, I do need to make some plans for the house. I decided to keep the house but remodel it. We could go to the home improvement store for some ideas.
That sounds boring as hell. But count me in any way.
Great! This is going to be a lot of fun! Call Idget and tell her to get ready. We will swing by to pick you two up.

"Jake! Change of plans! We're going to go out!" I yelled up the stairs toward him.
I didn't get a response so I headed up the stairs toward his room. The door was cracked open but the light was off. I pushed the door open to find the room dimly lit with the flicker of dozens of candles but Jake was nowhere to be found. I walked toward his closet to see if he was hiding in there. I opened the door and peered inside the dark closet but he wasn't in there either. I closed the door and turned around to head toward the bedroom door. Jake was leaning against the doorway and staring at me. His eyes glittered in the candlelight.
"Jake, where were you?" I asked.
"I was in the bathroom running a hot bath for you. If you feel like you need it that is." He pushed himself off the door frame and stepped toward me.
