Beep..... Beep... Beep... The line trilled as I waited for Tyler to answer.

Hey! What's up beeyotch? He answered in a high pitched squeal.

Hey, hoe... I answered back.

What are you doing later tonight?

I'm at work right now. I get off at six. After that, I'm taking Idget ice skating. Its gonna be so fun! He said cheerfully.

I could hear the smile in his voice. I'm so glad he's found someone who makes him so happy. And so have I. Well two someones.

Think you can come by for a bit on my lunch break? I asked slowly.

Shit Alicia. What's happened now?

What makes you think something happened? Can't I just see my best friend for a bit?

No, something up. Lately, you've been dropping bombs on me during your lunch breaks. So what is it this time?

Tyler, it's nothing you don't already know. But I feel like I just need you here for a little meeting. That's all.

I didn't reply to his threat. I just sat there quietly for a moment while I heard noises in the background of his phone. I guess Tyler took my silence as a hint there was something he should get upset at Luke or Jake about.

No! No Tyler. You won't need to hurt anyone. I don't think. My voice faded.

Hey sista, I gotta get back to work. I'll see you tonight. But I can't stay long cuz I got a hot date! He sang.

I waited and listened until he hung up then opened my chat windows to find the invite to the one Jake created this morning and accepted the invite. It was too cute. The wallpaper was the photo of them both kissing my cheeks with little heart stickers floating all over the screen. It was titled "The beauty, the stoic and the beast."

It seems fitting, I guess. Anyway, once I was done admiring the little chat window I typed out the message.

Dragonfly meeting with Luke, Jake, me and Tyler at 6:30 PM. DON'T BE LATE!

I shoved my phone in my apron and clocked in with four minutes to spare. I went in the back and found my boss, Jason (Jay for shorters) and snuck up behind him. I jabbed his sides with my fingers and yelled BOO! He screamed like a girl and spun around with a giant wooden spatula in his hand ready to attack. But once his eyes recognized me he lowered it to his side. I giggled as he blurted out profanities and told me not to do that. He muttered something about how he could have stabbed me with his spoon. Not likely but whatever. If it makes him feel brave with his little spoon, who am I to argue?
