택시 - taek-shi - taxi

There are three types of taxis in South Korea. The orange one, the silver and the black taxi. 

Orange taxis are owned by a company and the drivers work under the company. These kind of taxis are not allowed in small alleys.

Silver taxis are owned by the drivers themselves, the drivers don't work under any company.

Black taxis are considered as the luxurious taxis. The drivers can take you anywhere, which means it is more expensive. Also, the drivers are well mannered and are usually english speakers.
