는/은 neun/eun and 를/을 reul/eul

는/은 are used for subjects and means "is/am/are" meanwhile 를/을 are used for the direct objects.

는 is used if the subject ends with a vowel.

은 is used if the subject ends with a consonant.

Same rules for 를/을.

를 is used if the object ends with a vowel.

을 is used if the object ends with a consonant.

Example with consonants (INFORMAL)

I like you = 나 좋아헤

Example with vowels (INFORMAL) 

어머님 라면 만다줄게 = my mom will make ramyeon
