First of all, animals in Korean is 동물 - dong-mul.

Zoo is 동물원 - dong-mul-won

Let's let's get to the animals!

Starting off with South Korea's nation animal, the tiger!

Tiger - 호랑이 - ho-rang-i

Lion - 사자 - sa-ja

Cat - 고양이 - ko-yang-i

Sheep - 양 - yang

Butterfly - 나비 - na-bi

Dog -  개 - kae (the k has a slight g sound)

Bird - 새 - sae

Chicken - 닭 - dalg (sounds like tak, but with a slight d sound)

Bear - 곰 - gom

Cattle/cow - 소 - so

Pig - 돼지 - dwae-ji

Horse - 말 - mal (말 also means words or speech - as in to speak)

Donkey - 당나귀 - dang-na-kwi

Rooster -  수탉 - su-talg (WARNING: this also means cock. Sorry young reader) (also sounds like tak)

Deer - 사슴 - sa-seum

Goat - 염소 - yeom-so

Hamster - 햄스터 - ham-seu-teo

Rabbit - 토끼 - to-kki (try listening to the korean children's song; 산토끼 - the mountain rabbit)

You know the member from Ateez the kpop group? His stage name is San - 산 which means mountain.

Rat - 쥐 - jwi

Turtle - 거복이 - keo-bok-i

Fish - 물고기 - mul-ko-ki (which actually translates to water meat. 물 - water and 고기 - meat. But definitely means fish.)

소고기 Means cow meat or also beef. 소 - cow - 고기 - meat.

Frog - 개구리 - kae-goo-ri (try listening to Pentagon's - Naughty boy. They sing  this word a lot of times, it might helo with your pronunciation!)
