If you remember the number in korean then this will be no problem to remember.

Anyways I will write the numbers again!

These are the most used. Also the chinese:

일 - il - 1

이 - i - 2

삼 - sam - 3

사 - sa - 4

오 - o - 5

육 - yug - 6

칠 - chil - 7

팔 - phal/pal - 8 (don't make the 'ph' sound like f)

구 - gu/ku - 9

십 - sip - 10 ( 십 have a slightly 'sh' sound in the s.

When counting from 11 to 19.

11 - sip-il - (10십 + 1일) =십일

12 - sip-i - (10십 + 2이) = 십이

And so on!

20 to 99.

20 - i-sip (2이 + 10십) = 이십 (you switch around)

21 - i-sip-il (2이 + 10십 + 1일) = 이십일

And so on.

I think you get it.

But here we only need the numbers 1 to 31.

Ok so, when you want to say a month, like for example April, you put number 4 (because April is the fourth month) and add 월 (wol). It becomes 사월 (sa-wol).

So it's lile the number of the months + wol in the end.

January - 일월 - il-wol

February - 이월 - i-wol

March - 삼월 - sam-wol

April - 사월 - sa-wol

May - 오월 - o-wol

June - 유월 - Yu-wol (maybe you didn't notice, but 6 is 육(yug) in korean. But here we take 'ㄱ (g)' away. So it's only 유 (yu) + wol (월) = 유월 .... the same happens with October.

July - 칠월 - Chil-wol

August - 팔월 - Pal-wol

September - 구월 - gu/ku-wol

October - 시월 - Si-wol (again, we take 'ㅂ(p)' away from 십 (sip)

November - 십일월 - sip-il-wol

December - 십이월 - sip-i-wol

_____

Ok so now...

Year - 년 - nyeon

Month - 월 - wol

Day - 일 - il

_____

Let's make a date...

In Korea you say year-month-day.

이천이년 사월 이십삼일.
2002 April 23.

You can also write it like this.
2002년 4월 23일

While in english it is month-day-year (right?😂) You get the point!

April 23rd 2002

_____
