This chapter is more like a "to not have" related. You'll understand soon.1. 없다 - eobt-da - to not have/ to not he (somewhere) (verb)
2. 없는 - eobt-neun (bt will sound like m= eom-neun) - none
Example:
카메라 없는 사람들 - ka-me-ra eobt-neun sa-ram-deulWhich means:
People who have no camera/people with no camera/people without a camera3. 어떻게 - eo-ddeoh-ke - how
4. 어떤 - eo-ddeon - which. (also = what kind of/ which kind of)
Example:
어떤 사람이에요? - eo-ddeon sa-ram-i-e-yoMeans: what kind of person?
If you remove the question mark, it will be: somebody. (Formal speech.)
If you remove 이에요 (i-e-yo) it will be informal speech and will mean: Someone
5. 없습니다 - eobt-seub-ni-da - there is nothing/there are/is none/no one (super formal)
Example:
여기서 없습니다
There is nothing hereAlso means: there are/is none/no one here.
6. 얼마나요?- eol-ma-na-yo - how many/how much
Usually used when paying to ask "how much does it cost?" 얼마나요?
Or "how much?" 얼마에요? - eol-ma-e-yo?
Can also be used in this situation:
How lomg do you wait? - 얼마나 기다려요? - eol-ma-na ki-da-ryeo-yo?7. 어디에요? - eo-di-e-yo - where is it?/where? (Formal speech. Remove e-yo - 에요 for informal speech.)
8. 없어요 - eobs-eo-yo - there is nothing/there are/is none/no one (formal speech. Remove yo/요 for informal speech.)
9. 없으면 - eobs-eu-myeon - if there is nothing/none/ no one
10. 없어서 - eobs-eo-seo - there was nothing/none/ no one (notice this is past tense)
11. 없지만... - eob-ji-man (the t/s is silent. It can't be heard.) - there is nothing/none/no one, but...
