"Well I'm sorry that I forgot butter! Why don't you make it next time!" Yerin said angrily as she aggressively set the plate down in front of Umji who was complaining that Yerin forgot the butter for her food.
"Will someone go wake up Eunha? Her food is going to get cold" Yerin asked as she walked back into the kitchen to clean her mess.
"I'm here" Eunha walked into the kitchen as she rubbed her eyes.
She almost ran into Sowon who was making herself a cup of tea but luckily she opened her eyes in time. Sowon was tall and intimidating compared to Eunha who was short and seemingly innocent.
"Be careful where you walk" Sowon looked down at her and glared before walking away with her tea.
"Careful Eunha, you don't want to fall for her again, or in this case, fall on her" Yerin sarcastically commented. She was hoping to earn a chuckle but instead she earned a deadly glare from Eunha.
"Everybody stop talking" Sowon signaled for the girls in the kitchen to put an end to their conversation.
"Yes? Hello?" Sowon held the phone up to her ear to hear the voice clearly.
"Where have you been? I was worried sick about you!" Her friend yelled through the phone, loud enough to where the others could even hear her.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were my mother" Sowon rolled her eyes.
"Don't give me an attitude. Where have you been? You know you still have to come back to college in two weeks right?"
"No because I just forgot I want to be a chef" Sowon said sarcastically and made her friend sound stupid.
"Well come back over here and let's have a drink to celebrate our two weeks off because our room was exploded!" Her friend loudly laughed into the room. Even Sowon could help but smile at her laugh.
"I'll come over later tonight" Sowon didn't even think to ask Yerin if they had something else planned for the day already. She honestly forgot they were even there although all their eyes were glued on her.
"I'll see you then. Oh, and make sure to wear something nice"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Wear something sexy" she immediately hung up and left Sowon with many unanswered questions.
"Who was that?" Yerin was full of questions that she wanted to be answered immediately.
"Just a friend, why? Are you interested? I'm pretty sure she's attracted to females so if you'd like me to give her a call for you then I'd love to. She's actually looking for someone to date" Sowon shrugged with a smug smile. Part of her was serious but part of her was just kidding around.
"Is she attractive?" Yerin unexpectedly asked. Sowon assumed Yerin would yell at her but she got the complete opposite reaction.
"Yes..." Sowon furrowed her eyebrows. She almost looked a slight bit angry.
"Aha! You're jealous!" Eunbi jumped up from her seat.
"No I'm not. I'm not interested in people like her" Sowon lied. No, she wasn't interested in dating her friend. She didn't mind her personality.
"So what's her name?" Eunbi asked.
"Kim, why?" Sowon seemed awfully suspicious of Eunbi and Yerin.
"Kim what? Her last name please" Yerin looked at Sowon like she was stupid.
"I don't know" Sowon was beginning to get frustrated.
"Sure you do. I bet she's all over you 24/7" Yerin grinned as she washed the plates.
"Do you want her number or what?" Sowon asked with an annoyed tone.
"I was joking about going out with her" Yerin admitted although she thought it would've been funny to keep the joke going on for awhile.
"Ok then. I'll be up in my room" Sowon seemed to calm down after Yerin admitted that she didn't want to actually date her friend. It was weird to both Yerin and Eunbi.

Sowon looked at herself in the mirror as she brushed her hair. She wore black skinny jeans and a plain white t-shirt with a leather jacket over it. She grabbed her phone off the bed and ran downstairs to put her black boots on.
She hurriedly opened the door but stopped when she saw Eunha speaking to someone on the phone. She was leaning her body against the railing with her back faced towards Sowon.
She felt bad for eavesdropping on Eunha's conversation but she wanted to know who she was talking to. Besides, Sowons ride wasn't here yet anyways.
"I didn't just call to make jokes with you and laugh" Eunha suddenly stopped laughing.
"Well what is it? It there something wrong? Will you not be able to come back in the next few days?" Her boyfriend asked a series of questions. Obviously he cared for her very much.
"I can't come back, at least not for awhile. There are people here, people that I know and love. I have bigger priorities here and you're not one of them. I have friends here that need me and I need them, and although some of them may be an asshole to me, I still love her—them, I meant them, my fiends" Eunha was clearly devastated and heartbroken that she had to leave her boyfriend, Sowon could hear it in her sad voice.
"Did someone say something to you to convince you to stay? Don't let anyone change your mind. Eunha-"
"No. This is my choice. I'm sorry, I really am. You were a great boyfriend and an amazing man. There are so many women out there that would love to be with someone like you and I'm just not one of them" Eunha looked down at the floor as she waited for a response. She felt horrible for doing this to him but she knew it was the right thing to do. She didn't want to hurt him more in the end.
"Eunha we can work this out. Was it something that I did? I can come drive over there and visit you often if you live far away. We can meet up half way. Anything Eunha please?"
"Listen I don't want to be with you anymore. Why can't you just understand that? I've tried to explain it in the nicest way possible but you just keep on-" Eunha's voice came to a stop when she saw a car pull up and Sowon walk down the steps. She didn't know Sowon was standing behind her and listening to their conversation the whole time.
"Who's that?" Her friend asked once Sowon got in the car.
"I'm not sure...just someone who lives there with my friend" Sowon shrugged as she looked over at Eunha.
"She's very cute" she said as she took a long glance at Eunha.
"She's very short too" Sowon averted her eyes from Eunha who continued her conversation with her boyfriend.
"Maybe I'll get her number when I bring you back" she smiled as she took her foot off the brake paddle.
"I'm sure you will, Kim" Sowon returned the smile.
Eunha waved goodbye to them with a genuine smile. She wondered who Sowon was going out with but she tried to ignore it. She couldn't show that she cared. She had to pretend that Sowon was nothing to her.
