Oblivious

After about an hour of watching over Yuju, Umji finally fell asleep in the chair. She was going to regret it later when she woke up with a sore neck. But it would all be fine since she was still by Yuju's side. She looked so peaceful with her hand still tightly holding onto Yuju's. She would wait forever for Yuju to wake up, even if she never would again.

Umji knew she would never be able to find someone like Yuju and that's why losing her would be so heartbreaking. Most people go through breakups and usually find another person but Umji just knew she couldn't do that. She wouldn't allow herself to ever let go.

"Water..." Yuju whispered but it was too quiet. She could barely talk. Her throat hurt because it was so dry.

She looked over at Umji who was still sleeping. She tried to squeeze her hand to get her attention but her muscles felt too weak. She began to wonder if maybe she is just weak. All she wanted was to be strong, not just for herself, but she wanted to be strong for Umji.

Yuju decided just to go back to sleep so she wouldn't focus on her dry throat. She closed her eyes the second before Umji opened hers. Umji figured Yuju was still sleeping since her eyes were closed. She lay awake for moment, staring at Yuju before also closing her eyes again. But slowly Umji's hand let go of Yuju's and fell onto her lap.

"Where the fuck is Umji and Yuju? I'm about this close to snapping" Yerin pinched her fingers together to show them how close she was.

"I don't know. I don't understand why neither of them are answering our calls and text. It's rude. But what if something happened to them? Maybe we should go check?" Eunbi was concerned now. She didn't realize until now that something serious could have happened.

"Yeah don't we have a mission in six days?" Eunha chimed in.

"Yeah and Yuju is our backup, I need her for this one. Why does Umji have to be so stupid and say something like that at a time like this?" Yerin facepalmed. She knew Umji could be ruthless sometimes but she never expected her to call Yuju stupid that day. Even she was shocked.

"Maybe they got in a fight" Eunbi shrugged.

"Why would they get in a fight? I thought they were over the abortion thing?" Yerin raised one eyebrow.

"I don't know. Couples get in fights all the time"

"Couples?" Yerin choked. "They're dating?! Since when?!" Yerin didn't understand how she never realized it until now. But now that Eunbi said something about it she could see all the signs that she should've paid more attention to. It was clear but Yerin was oblivious.

"About half a year, why? It was the day before Eunha told us that she is three months pregnant" Eunbi didn't see why this was such shocking news. Everyone knew it was going to happen at some point.

"What the fuck?!" Yerin gasped.

"Don't tell me you didn't know Eunha was pregnant. She literally has a baby" Eunbi facepalmed.

"Of course I know she has a baby!" Yerin didn't even realize that Eunbi was just making a joke.

"I can't believe they didn't tell me. So all of you knew this whole time except for me?" Yerin was in disbelief but she was also disappointed that no one told her.

"Yeah basically" Eunbi nonchalantly replied.

"Eunbi you're not helping" Eunha glared at her.

"What was that Eunha? I'm sorry I can't hear you because you're too short. Maybe if you were taller-"

"Shut the fuck up! I'm sick of you and-"

"Alright both of you stop!" Yerin got in between the two before things escalated too quickly.

"Then tell her to stop!" Eunha pointed at Eunbi.

"Tell her to stop" Eunbi stuck her tongue out at Eunha.

"Stop acting like a bunch of kids! What am I to you? Your babysitter? No! Shut the fuck up and grow up already!" Yerin had enough of all of them lately. At this point she was ready to just runaway.

"No! It's only fine when Sowon makes fun of my height! Eunbi doesn't get the right!"

"Exactly! Friends with benefits!" Eunbi shouted at her.

"I don't think you know what that means, Eunbi" Yerin suddenly laughed.

"What's so funny?" Eunbi glared at her. Even Eunha wasn't mad anymore because she was laughing at Eunbi.

"Eunbi use the phrase friends with benefits in another sentence" Yerin couldn't seem to stop laughing. How did Eunbi not understand what the phrase meant.

"Sowon gets more rights and privileges in the friendship like making fun of Eunha's height because they are friends with benefits" Eunbi was very, very confident in her sentence. She was actually quite proud of being able to come up with it on the spot.

"Oh my god! Ha!" Yerin clapped her hands together while dying of laughter along with Eunha. Eunbi still didn't know why they were laughing at her.

"Why are you guys laughing at me?" Eunbi was beginning to feel a bit insecure.

"Oh Eunbi we're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you" Eunha tried to control her laughter but Eunbi's facial expressions was making it way too difficult.

"But I'm not laughing" Eunbi kept a straight face which brought Eunha and Yerin back to being serious.

"Ahem" Yerin coughed. She tried to talk again after a few seconds but all that came out was laughter which Eunha soon followed.

"Well is anyone gonna tell me what it is then?" Eunbi glared at the both of them.

"Eunbi it's when two friends are having sex together but aren't in an actual relationship. So basically they're just friends but also sex buddies" Yerin felt a bit uncomfortable while explaining it but she was still snickering.

"Oh so like Sowon and Eunha?"

A weird noise came out of Yerin's mouth as she began rolling on the floor laughing. She was having way too much fun with this. Eunha awkwardly looked back and forth at the both of them. She couldn't tell if they were being serious. She really hoped they weren't.

"What?..." Eunha tried to hide her nervousness.

"Well earlier Yerin made it sound like you and Sowon are seeing each other. Because remember yesterday when she said "are you trying to see Sowon when we're gone?" So I assumed she meant something like that" Eunbi explained. Eunha took a loud sigh of relief.

"No I was just teasing her" Yerin covered up for Eunha. But she wasn't going to for much longer.
