"She is sleeping" Eunha came back into the room.
"Ok thanks. You," Yerin averted her eyes over to Eunwoo, "get out of here. You don't need to see her without a shirt on" Yerin warned before she took Sowons shirt off to do the stitches.
Eunwoo quickly left the room. He didn't understand why Yerin was suddenly being so mean to him. He figured it was probably just because she's stressed about her friend. Yerin was a little over protective sometimes, but it was the only way she knew how to act at times like this.
Yerin grabbed the scissors and cut down the middle of Sowons white shirt. The blood definitely ruined the whole shirt. She couldn't go out in public wearing a shirt with a blood stain on it. Eunha covered her eyes, not because Sowon didn't have a shirt on, but because of the blood leaking out of the bullet hole.
"I'm sure you already know this is going to burn" Yerin warned before she poured the cleansing alcohol over the wound.
"Just get it over with" Sowon's body jerked once the cleansing alcohol made contact with her bare skin.
"Eunha get over here" Yerin signaled for Eunha to come stand next to the table. "Hold her hand. I know you'll keep her calm during this painful part." Yerin wasn't giving Eunha an option. She knew this was going to be painful without the anesthesia and she needed someone to distract Sowon to subside the pain.
"Umji shut the door and lock it" Umji followed the demand and quickly ran to the door.
"You might want to look away" Yerin looked at Eunha before she began the stitching process.
Eunha closed her eyes. Watching this would be disgusting. She felt so bad when she felt Sowon tightly squeeze her hand whilst whimpering.
"Only a few more to go. You're doing great Sowon" Yerin tried to encourage her but it didn't seem to be working so well.
"How did you learn to be so good at this kind of stuff?" Umji asked as Yerin finished up.
"Doesn't matter" Yerin coldly responded while she put the supplies back in the cupboards.
"Take Sowon back home. She needs to get some rest" Yerin left the room. Sowon wanted to thank Yerin but she was already gone.
"Come on lets go" Eunha helped Sowon off the table.
Umji was a bit suspicious when she saw that Eunha touched Sowon's bare stomach without hesitating at all. Eunha use to not be like that after they broke up. There was definitely something going on between them and she had to figure it out.
"Here take my coat" Umji wrapped her coat around Sowon's body before she left the room with Eunha.
"Where are you going?" Eunwoo jumped up from his seat once he saw Eunha come out of the room. He was truly concerned for her friend.
"I'm taking her home" Eunha reassuringly nodded and smiled at him.
"What about the baby?" Eunwoo said, looking over at the tiny human laying on the floor with a smile.
"It won't take long. I'm sure you can handle taking care of him for awhile" Eunha sighed and assisted Sowon to the front door.
"Don't worry, she's just stressed" Umji apologized for Eunha's behavior before following them out to Sowon's car.
"Get her home safe, ok? Thank you for what you did today, Sowon" Umji gave Sowon a proud smile before backing away from the car so Eunha could pull out of the driveway without running over Umji's foot.
"Today hasn't been such a good day has it?" Eunha frowned while she kept her attention on the dark roads.
"Not at all. Are you dumb? I was shot, of course it's not a good day" Sowon slouched in her seat, hissing at the pain from the movement.
"I wish I could've been there to help you. I'm sorry" Eunha was always apologizing for things she had no control over.
"It's fine. As long as Umji is okay" Sowon leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes.
"I feel so bad for Umji. I can't believe she had to decide whether to just let Yuju die or not. It must've been so hard" Eunha held back a few tears. Thinking about Yuju being gone devastated her, more so for Umji.
"It's always hard to lose someone you love. Trust me I know the feeling" Sowon looked out the window with a sad expression.
"What do you mean by that?" Eunha figured Sowon was talking about how she cheated on her.
"Don't worry, I'm not talking about you" Sowon knew exactly what she was thinking. She was lying to her though. There were two people that made her feel that way.
"It must be your father then? I'm sorry"
"Would you stop apologizing for what's not your fault? It's so annoying" Sowon rolled her eyes. She thought apologizing for such things was a waste of time.
"I'm sorry for not being there"
"You're here now, that's all that matters" Sowon tried to turn to her side a bit but it only ended up hurting her stomach.
"Can I ask you something?"
"You already are" those five words already worried Sowon. She hated when people wanted to ask her questions, especially if they were personal questions.
"How did Yerin find out what's going on between us? Did you tell her?" Eunha suddenly remembered what Yerin had said to her earlier that day.
"I forgot to tell you this. Yerin caught us a couple weeks ago" Sowon had completely forgot about having a conversation with her. She actually tried to ignore it until she forgot about it.
"What? And you didn't say anything to me?" Eunha gasped. She wasn't mad that Sowon didn't tell her, she just couldn't believe it.
"I didn't want to worry you. Don't worry, she won't say anything, at least I hope not" Sowon tried to keep her calm.
"Sowon you should've told me"
"I know. I was afraid you'd leave me again. I'll figure it out. You just relax" Sowon said as she struggled to get out of the car without feeling too much pain.
"Are you sure you don't want me to stay?"
"No I'll be fine. You have a kid and husband to take care of anyways" Sowon frowned.
"Ok well get some rest" Eunha smiled at her and waited to make sure Sowon got inside safely.
