Ruined

"Everyone get ready and clean the house! Eunha is coming over!" Yerin shouted from the top of the stairs.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and began to scramble around the house, looking for any mess they could clean up. Why did it have to be so clean when she got here? There wasn't any particular reason. Yerin just didn't want to look like a dump in front of her.

"Yuju I thought you cleaned up the blood on the floor!" Sowon stared down at her blood with a panicked look.

"I tried but it wouldn't come out!" Yuju unintentionally shouted. Everyone running around and screaming was stressing her out.

"Oh fuck!" Sowon couldn't think of anything to get rid of the stain except for replace the carpet but that would take too long.

"It's not like she's gonna go up stairs anyways" Yerin shrugged and walked right pass the blood stain.

"I guess you're right. Back to work everyone! Hurry up! She'll be here in five minutes" Sowon clapped her hands to get everyone's attention then ran back down the stairs to tidy up the kitchen.

"Sowon you're not gonna have time to put on makeup to cover up your wounds" Umji said, looking at Sowons wounds to see if they had healed up a bit yet.

"Oh shit!" Sowon ran towards the stairs but once she got to the first step Eunha knocked on the door.

"Just go upstairs and don't come down" Umji said.

"Can't I just go up stairs and put on some makeup?" Sowon raised her eyebrows.

"No she'll question you. Hurry and go upstairs! She's waiting outside the door!" Umji had her hand on the door knob, ready to open it after she rushed Sowon up the stairs.

"Eunha! Hey..." Umji leaned against the door and awkwardly laughed.

"Hey guys. I thought I'd stop by and tell you some big news" Sowon listened to them from the top of the stairs.

"That's fine. Come on in" Umji smiled and gestured for her come inside.

"May I use the bathroom?" Eunha immediately asked. They all froze for a moment.

"Sure go ahead"

"I'll use the one upstairs since that one is occupied" Eunha pointed to the bathroom next to them.

"Eunbi hurry up" Umji knocked on the door.

"I'm taking a shit!" Eunbi replied with a British accent.

"Ew you nasty! We didn't need to know that" The room was filled with fake puking noises coming from Yuju and Yerin.

"Wait where is Eunha?" Umji noticed that Eunha was no longer in sight.

"She just went up the stairs, why?" Yuju stopped with the noises and became serious.

"Eunha no! Wait!" Umji and Yerin raced towards the stairs.

"Is this...blood?" Eunha pointed at the red stain on the carpet. Her eyes were wide and she seemed a bit disturbed.

"Uh Sowon and Yerin got in a little bit of a, uh, fight" Umji explained, scratching the back of her head in an awkward manner.

"Well where is Sowon?"

"In her room..." Umji looked over at Sowons closed door.

"I want to see her" Eunha took one last glance at the blood before walking into Sowons room.

"What happened to you?" Eunha noticed the extremely small bandaid on her lip and another bandage covering the cut above her right eyebrow. Her black eye and bruises on her cheek were also left exposed.

"I fell...down the stairs" that was the first and overused excuse Sowon could think of.

"I know that's not what happened. Umji already told me what happened between you and Yerin. What did you do to her? I saw the bump on her forehead" Eunha took a few steps closer to Sowon to examine the wounds.

"I pushed her down the stairs so she beat me up" Sowon shrugged. She didn't want to have to explain the whole back story to Eunha.

"Why did you push her? You're so rude sometimes" Eunha furrowed her eyebrows. Of course she sided with Yerin, she didn't know the whole story and she wanted to win Yerin over.

"Oh so now I'm the rude one?! You don't even know what happened!" Sowon couldn't help but shout when she got frustrated. It was second nature to her.

"So then what did happen? Don't yell at me, just talk to me so I can understand" Eunha calmly responded. She didn't want to get Sowon more worked up than she already is. If anything, she wanted to calm her down before they got in a real fight.

"You'd never understand! Not until you know what it's like to be cheated on"

"So that's what this is about? Can't you just forget it already? It's been a year"

"No I can't because for once I was actually happy and I haven't felt that in a long time!" They all fell silent for awhile after that.

"Well uh...so what's the big news you wanted to tell us, Eunha?" Umji tried changing the subject. The awkward silence was also creating a lot of tension between them all.

"She's engaged to that asshole of a boyfriend of hers" Sowon scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"That's for me to share! Not you! You had no place or right to tell them my big news!" Eunha turned around and immediately slapped Sowon across the face.

"You fucking cunt" Sowon shoved Eunha towards her desk. Eunha was very lucky, her head was inches away from hitting the sharp edge of the desk.

"Wow wow wow! Calm down! No need to fight again" Umji grabbed Sowon while Eunbi kept Eunha in her arms so they couldn't get to each other.

"Don't you ever talk to me like that again!" Eunha yelled as she tried breaking free from Eunbi's clutches.

"YOU STUPID LITTLE SLUT" Sowon challenged.

"That's it! Let me go! Let me go!" Eunha began kicking Eunbi.

"Yerin help! I can't keep her still" Eunbi looked over at Yerin for assistance. Yerin shrugged in return, she wanted to see Sowon get beat up again.

That's when Eunbi's arms were finally pulled apart. She reached out to grab Eunha again but she was already too far away. Umji was shoved away and Eunha pounced on Sowon.

The two pulled each other's hair and clawed at each other's faces. Eunha grabbed Sowons hand and bit her arm. Sowon immediately pushed Eunha off her and scrambled to her feet while Umji and Eunbi both grabbed onto Eunha's arms and kept her a safe distance from Sowon.

"You'd never understand how much pain you caused me" Sowon grabbed her coat and glared at Eunha as she angrily walked out of the room.
