Stitches

Eunha reached her short arms and grabbed a black bag. She opened the bag and found a few transparent boxes inside. She grabbed the one with the supplies for stitching but when she lifted it up she discovered a picture at the bottom of the bag. She lifted it up and looked at a photo that consisted of all six of them together. She turned it around and found a photo that broke her heart. A photo of only the two of them, only Sowon and Eunha.

"Get yourself together Eunha" she slapped herself to stop herself from crying and being distracted.

"Umji I've never done this before so I'm sorry if I mess this up and possibly get you killed" Eunha apologized in advance.

She carefully opened the box and grabbed the small amount of supplies that were left. It was when she grabbed the stitches that she realized that she might've not had enough.

"Umji I don't think I have enough left" Eunha looked at the small amount of string left.

Eunha looked down at Umji who remained unconscious. She kept talking to herself to distract herself from the extreme anxiety she was feeling. She was about to begin the stitching process until suddenly a fist kept hitting the car door.

Eunha immediately ducked down. The others had put curtains over the windows so no one could see inside but Eunha was sure that the person outside the car had seen her shadow. She still wasn't going to open it. She grabbed the gun out of Umji's shoe and pointed it at the door. She wanted to help Umji but she was also scared for her life. Meanwhile Umji was still bleeding out in the car. Soon it was going to be too late. She had already lost too much blood just while in Yerin's hands.

"Eunha it's me! Let me in" Eunha heard a familiar voice but she was still worried.

She slowly got closer to the door and grabbed the handle. The gun violently shaking in her hands as she unlocked the door and opened it. Fortunately she was greeted by Sowon who hurriedly jumped into the van and shut the door and locked it.

"Eunha" Sowon sat up against the wall of the van and sighed.

"What are you doing?"

"I was shot" Sowon looked down at her leg that was bleeding.

"What do you want me to do about it?! Umji is about to die and I don't have enough stitches!" Eunha suddenly broke down in tears.

"Eunha it's fine" Sowon rubbed her back, trying to console her.

"Eunha Listen to me. The wound isn't that big. You will have enough to finish her wound but you won't have enough for me. Just do it and I'll figure something out" Sowon tried to reassure her. It wasn't often that she had to do this so she wasn't very good at it.

"Alright let me focus" Eunha slowly brought the needle up to Umji's wound. Her hands were trembling.

"Eunha breathe. You can't have shaky hands when doing this" Sowon remarked.

"Relax" Eunha mumbled to herself. She slowly began to stitch the wound together. It was her first time doing this so of course it wasn't going to be perfect but it was pretty decent.

Eunha didn't even know how Umji was still breathing. It looked like she lost gallons of blood. Her face was pale and her body was cold but she was still breathing and that's honestly what mattered most to Eunha right now. She was finally feeling a bit relieved until she remembered Sowon who was sitting behind her with a bullet hole in her thigh.

"Ah! What are you doing?!" Eunha covered her eyes the second she turned around to face Sowon. "Put your shirt back on!" Eunha refused to open her eyes until she knew it was safe.

"Relax. I'm trying to find a string" Sowon rolled her eyes as she examined the back of her shirt.

"You keep strings in your pocket?" Eunha asked, her eyes still covered.

"No. I'm looking for a piece of string hanging off my shirt. You know how sometimes the fabric will be torn and you can like pull the string out until it rips?" Sowon tried to explain it but she wasn't sure how to. She was sure Eunha knew anyways. There were plenty of times Sowon had torn through Eunha's clothing.

"For what?"

"For the stitches obviously!" Eunha suddenly felt dumb now.

"You're a genius!" Eunha unexpectedly opened her eyes. She was gonna have to at some point anyways.

"Do you think this is long enough?" Sowon held up the string in her hand.

"It should be" Eunha grabbed the bloody supplies and brought them over to Sowon.

"What are you doing? You can't use the same bloody needle. Get a new one" Sowon pointed to the box with supplies.

"Right" Eunha quickly grabbed a new needle. "Here you go" she tried to hand them to Sowon but she wouldn't take them.

"I'm not stitching my wound together. You are, I'm too weak" Sowon had a pleading look that Eunha couldn't resist.

"Ok well your clothes are kind of...blocking my way so..." Eunha awkwardly waited for Sowon to make the next move.

"Eunha we're not together anymore and we haven't been for awhile, stop being dramatic and fix my leg!" Sowon said while she pulled her pants down just a little pass the wound.

"Sorry" Eunha quickly got to work once Sowon sat back down and relaxed.

"Eunha" Sowon grabbed her hands. "You can't have shaky hands when doing this. You're going to mess up if you do. Calm down" Sowon held onto her hands for a few seconds to stop them from shaking so much.

"I'm just a bit uncomfortable..." Eunha wasn't use to being this close to a shirtless Sowon anymore. It may have only been her stomach that was exposed but it still made Eunha a bit awkward.

"You think I'm not either? Just get this over with so I can put my clothes back on" Sowon sighed and looked away.

"So why did you come here anyways? How did you even know I was in this car? And who shot you?" Eunha kept the conversation going in order to distract herself.

"Because I've been in this van so many times, I can see the license plate too. Also, Yuju shot me. I told her to stop shooting at me but she said I'm a bad guy so she has to" Sowon still couldn't believe that Yuju kept firing at her.

"Wait seriously?"

"Yeah I didn't think she could be such an asshole but I guess I was wrong" Sowon looked away from her leg, she could feel the pain starting to kick in.

"I found that picture in the bag" Eunha looked over at the picture on the floor. She forgot to flip it over so now the side that was showing was just the two of them.

"I forgot I kept that in there" Sowon smiled at the picture.

"I look fine as hell in that photo" Eunha laughed.

"Oh shut up" Sowon smiled at Eunha who continued laughing. It felt good to see her again, extremely good, maybe even a little too good.
