Umji was beginning to lose hope and she knew that the others needed her. She couldn't decide whether to stay with Yuju or go help her other friends. It was too difficult to decide. She loved all of them, but she was worried about Yuju and she knew that Yerin and the others would do just fine without her.
She grabbed Yuju's hand and laid her head on the side of the bed. She's had such a headache the last few days. She was constantly stressing about Yuju which she knew wasn't good for her health at all. She just wanted it to end. She wanted her to wake up and know that she was going to be okay. And Umji couldn't let the last moment between them be of them fighting. She wanted Yuju to know that she was truly sorry.
"Please wake up" Umji whispered. She could feel her eyes beginning to water because she knew that if Yuju didn't wake up within a few hours then she had to go back to Korea to help Yerin.
Umji pressed the botton on the bed for the doctor to come into the room. She wasn't at all prepared for the moment he would walk in. She didn't want to do this, she believed in Yuju, but she couldn't wait. Yerin needed her and she didn't want to get anyone else hurt, or worse, killed.
"Doctor" Umji looked up at him with the saddest eyes. "I think I'm going to go now. I wanted to wait longer, possibly forever just for her, but my friends need me back in Korea. I'm sorry Yuju" Umji glanced over at her before she finished. "You can pull the plug now" Umji grabbed her things and left the room before the doctor could see her cry. She couldn't bare seeing Yuju being taken off of life support.
"I'm sorry" the doctor said as he came out of the room after pulling the plug out.
"Please just...just don't say anything" Umji leaned against the wall crying. She was so vulnerable at this moment.
"I'll pay for the other half of the bill. You go on back home. I'll have someone stop by in a few minutes to come collect her body. I am truly sorry for your lost...Umji?" The Doctor slightly struggled to pronounce her foreign name. All of him felt so bad for her. The worst part about being a doctor was moments like this.
Umji wiped her tears, she didn't want anyone to see her like this. She quickly made her way towards the counter to pay the bill. She wanted to get out of this hospital as fast as she could, it was only bringing her more sad emotions. She walked out the door and didn't dare look back. Once she was in the cab she kept her head down.
But after the doctor left the room Yuju turned to her side and curled up into a ball. She tucked her face under the blankets and cried her heart out. All of her wanted to stop Umji from leaving but she was so angry with her yet the anger was over something so little. She loved her too much to the point where it scared her. She was too afraid of hurting her.
She knew she could never be like Sowon and be so reckless when it came to love. She wanted eternal love with Umji. Yet it scared her. She was afraid of making a single mistake. It was impossible to not make a mistake within so many years. Yuju made mistakes everyday, but she thought of Umji as a god with no flaws.

"Umji you're back?! You're right on time!" Eunha wrapped her short arms around her.
"Wait are we going today?" Umji pulled away. She really didn't feel like being touched by anyone right now.
"No but it's tomorrow so you better be ready. I heard he's in a gang" Eunbi whispered as if the man were there listening to them.
"Ah I see" Umji painfully smiled at them.
"Aw Umji have you been crying? Your eyes and face are red" Eunha wiped Umji's cheeks to see if it was just make up.
"No...where is Yerin?" Umji looked around the room for the leader but she was no where is sight.
"No the more important question is where is Yuju?" Eunha peeked out of the window to see if maybe Yuju was out there carrying luggage or whatever but sadly she wasn't.
"She's still in Europe" Umji tried to sound emotionless as usual.
"Why? I thought maybe you guys apologized to each other and took a trip there for awhile." Eunbi raised her eyebrows. Yerin was not going to be happy with this sudden news. She needed Yuju now more than ever.
"She overdosed" all the memories of finding her unconscious on that bed came flowing back into her mind. She didn't want to recall it but she knew it would live there forever in her memories.
"What?! Why didn't you tell us this?! We've been worried sick about you two and you didn't ever bother to tell us this information?" Eunha was so close to beating Umji's ass but she knew she had gone through a hard time so she decided to cut her some slack.
"That's exactly why I didn't want to tell you guys. I didn't want you to worry, I had it all under control" Umji looked down at her feet feeling beyond ashamed.
"Ok then what is she doing now?" this was the question Umji feared the most.
"She wouldn't wake up and I had to come help you guys so I had the doctor take her off life support. She's dead and it's my fault" Umji closed her eyes to keep the tears back but somehow they still escaped. There were few tears rolling down her cheeks but it still made Eunha and Eunbi cry even more.
"You should've never said anything rude to her! Wait till Yerin finds out about this!" Eunbi marched away.
"If you would've told us the situation then we would've let you stay there with her and keep her on life support. I'm sorry you couldn't trust us Umji, I'm so, so sorry" Eunha embraced her with an extremely tight but comforting hug. Umji wasn't fond of hugs but she wanted to be held by a loved one.
