"Are you fucking crazy?!" Yerin was immediately shoved by Eunbi once she entered the house.
"I was worried sick about you!" Sowon ran in front of Eunbi and wrapped her long arms around Yerins cold, shivering, and drenched body.
"Why didn't you just take the offer from Eunha?" Eunbi asked, evidently angry with Yerin.
"Because she's an asshole who left us all" Yerin glared at Eunha out of the corner of her eye as she disappeared up the stairs. She was still hurt by what Eunha did to them and she had every right to be angry with her still.
"I didn't think she was still mad ab-"
"Sh. Just stop talking. I'll go talk to her real quick, you just need to keep your mouth shut" Eunbi interrupted her. Eunha was actually quite angry, it wasn't fair to her that she was treated so unfairly, but maybe now she'll know how she's been treating the others.
Eunbi ran up the stairs behind Yerin and went to her room. Sowon sat back in her seat. Everyone sitting around the table was very awkward. They weren't sure how to start a conversation to stop the awkward silence so they left it up to Umji since she seemed very good at it.
"Uh...so we were actually on our way to come get you guys but then Eunha showed up with you so..." Umji said, looking around at the table to see everyone's reactions.
"Yup, that happened" Sowon joined in the little chitchat that didn't seem to be going so well.
"Obviously. Well I haven't seen you in awhile, so what are you up to lately?" Umji looked over at her sister, wondering how she'd answer her question.
"I kill people" Umji decided to put it bluntly, she didn't see why she needed to lie, unless people like the police or regular citizens get involved.
"Yes I know but like have you done anything else?" She asked.
"She had an abort-" Umji stomped on Yuju's shoe and covered her mouth.
"You had an abortion?! Mother and father would be so disappointed in you" this comment set Umji off.
"Like they even care" Umji had her fist tightened under the table. She didn't care if it was her sister, she'd still beat her ass till she's almost dead.
"They miss you, ya know? You should come home"
"Is this some kind of a joke to get me to come home?" Umji looked at every individual and glared at Sowon who would probably be the mastermind behind it all.
"No I'm just saying that they probably miss you, especially since brother is gone now. They're sad, I'm sure they could use some of our company"
"You can go but I'm not going anywhere around them" Umji released her fist and brought them back onto the table.
"Well will someone take me there? I'm not walking" she looked around the table to see if anyone would offer her a ride.
"I'll take you on my way back home. I should actually head home soon since my boyfriend will be there soon" Sowon rolled her eyes again. Sometimes it seemed like Sowon was never going to forgive Eunha. A breakup was bad enough but being cheated on, that was way worse, it takes longer to get over that, even if it has been a year since it happened.
"You're still hung up over that guy? What a piece of crap" Sowon scoffed. Eunha tried so hard not to saying anything back but she couldn't keep her mouth shut.
"At least I'm not dating a fucking idiot, I bet she doesn't even know what two plus two is" Eunha fired back with much confidence. Her comment even had the other three laughing.
"It's five" Yuju suddenly said.
"Oh god" the four facepalmed, including Sowon.
This helped Yuju realize how dumb they think she actually is. They didn't think it was a joke, which Yuju said it intentionally to join in on the joke. Maybe she was dumb, or maybe others just doubted her.
"Anyways back to what I was saying. She's not dumb! I bet she's smarter than you will ever be!" Sowon, just as expected, got very defensive of her girlfriend.
"Oh yeah? Prove it then" Eunha gave a sassy look.
"Fine then I'll call her and put her on speaker phone" Sowon grabbed her phone from her pocket and dialed Kim's number.
"Sowon! Hey. What's up?"
"Eunha over here thinks she's smarter than you and I wanted you to prove her wrong. Are you up for it?" Sowon asked with a wary voice.
"I mean I'm kinda busy and I don't want to have to drive over there"
"No we can just play on speaker phone, you don't have to drive over here"
"Yeah and no cheating!" Umji snatched the phone out of Sowons hand and yelled into the speakers.
"Alright lets start! Are you smarter than a fifth grader?" Yuju laughed at her lame joke. She immediately stopped when she saw that no one was paying attention to her.
"Alright lets start off with the basics. Eunha, what is twelve times twelve?" Sowon asked, her eyebrows raised. She hoped Eunha would get the question wrong.
"Easy it's simple math! The answer is one-hundred-forty-four" Eunha proudly smiled.
"That's correct. Kim, what is eight times two?" Sowon asked, praying that nobody would realize what she just did.
"Hey, hey! Wait! You can't do that Sowon, it's cheating. You can't favor a contestant. The questions must progressively get more difficult after each question and eight times two is easy. Like Eunha said, it's simple math. The answer of course is going to be sixteen" Umji stopped everything they were doing. She was not going to let Sowon and Kim get away with this, especially since she didn't like Kim.
"Sixteen! The answer is sixteen!" Kim shouted into the phone.
"Obviously, dumbass" Umji mumbled.
"Alright next question then. This one is for Eunha, what is the longest bone in your body?"
"Easy! The femur bone!" Eunha had the biggest smile on her face. She was so excited for some reason, and she wasn't just excited to prove Kim wrong, she was just oddly excited.
Her smile was contagious, Sowon could barely keep her lips from curving into a small but genuine smile. It was hard at times to keep herself away from Eunha, she wanted to be mad at her still but slowly she felt herself letting the anger go.
"Tell me Kim, how long is the largest intestine?"
"1.5 meters! Or five feet!" Kim was also clearly excited.
"That's correct" Umji didn't need a phone to check the answer, she already knew. Her and Yerin were the two geniuses of the group while Yuju and Eunbi were the dumbest ones of the group.
It took about an hour to finish all of the one-hundred questions Sowon had asked. The final scores ended up to be 100/100 for Kim and 99/100 for Eunha. It wasn't fair though, but none of them knew that except for Kim. Eunha would've won by a lot more points if Kim hadn't been cheating by looking up all the questions on her phone.
