Early mornings

"Happy birthday, Eunha" Eunwoo jumped into the bed and kissed her forehead.

"Thanks" Eunha wondered why he wasn't telling her that Sowon had wished her a happy birthday. Maybe he forgot already?

"Eunbi you don't get to take up three-fourths of the bed and expect me not to say anything" Yerin aggressively pushed Eunbi to her side of the bed.

"I need more room!" Eunbi spread her legs and arms out. Her arm accidentally hit Yerin in the face which set her off.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Yerin grabbed the pillow and hit Eunbi with it multiple times.

"Just sleep on the floor" Eunbi whined.

"Why don't you sleep on the floor?" She fired back.

"Well then it looks like you're stuck with me" Eunbi evilly laughed.

"That's it you're annoying me" Yerin angrily got out of bed and went to the floor. She didn't even take a pillow or the blanket that she had to share with Eunbi.

"Haha" Eunbi smiled and closed her eyes.

"You thought wrong bitch" Yerin suddenly appeared next to Eunbi's face.

She grabbed Eunbi's arms and pulled her off the bed. Once Eunbi was on the floor groaning she jumped onto the bed and spread her limbs out like a starfish.

"If this is what I'm going to have to deal with every night for a whole month then I'm literally going to shoot myself" Eunbi complained, still laying on the floor.

"I'll do it for you" Yerin replied.

"Now that you said that I'm gonna annoy you even more" Eunbi laid back in the bed to get an angry reaction out of Yerin.

"You know what? Fine. You have your side and I'll be over here" Yerin rolled over and curled up into a ball. Eunbi took up three-fourths of the bed again but Yerin decided to ignore it.

"Thanks" Eunbi mumbled.

Her smile soon began to fade as she drifted to sleep. Yerin, however, suddenly seemed to find the walls so interesting. For some reason she couldn't sleep and kept her eyes on the wall. She tried keeping them closed but she kept finding herself opening them again. It took her over an hour to finally fall asleep.

"So what do you think of that guy? Is he cool or does he annoy you?" Yuju asked.

"I don't know, Yuju. I've barely met the guy" Umji shrugged. It seemed too soon for her to judge him already.

"He isn't even attractive though. How could Eunha date someone as ugly as him?"

"Yuju don't be rude" Umji slapped her shoulder. "Everyone has different preferences. She likes him, so what? It's not like you're dating him. And obviously they love each other, they're married and will have a child of their own soon" Umji explained. Yuju could be quick to judge sometimes.

"I wouldn't have a child with you just because I love you" Yuju didn't even worry if what she said might sound offensive. Umji knew her enough to know that that's not what she meant.

"We can't even have a child together"

"Which I think is wonderful. Neither of us has to worry about getting pregnant, that's a bonus I'd say"

"Yeah I guess" Umji frowned.

"Well it's already 2:34am so we should go to bed" Yuju turned around, her back now facing Umji.

"Don't you think it's a bit cold in here?" Umji asked.

"Nope this blanket is very warm. I wonder where Eunha bought it" Yuju smiled as she curled up into a ball and closed her eyes. Umji's plan to get Yuju to cuddle with her had failed.

Sowon violently woke up and turned her alarm off. She was in a rush since she woke up late. She grabbed the old phone that Eunha let her borrow for an alarm and tip-toed into the kitchen. She quietly walked up the stairs and went into the main bedroom. She felt bad for doing this but she wasn't sure what else to do.

She poked Eunha's shoulder multiple times, trying to wake her up without making too much noise. Eunha blinked a few times, trying to see who was standing in front of her. It was too blurry for her to see a single thing.

"Eunha I need a favor, I'm sorry to wake you" Sowon apologized beforehand.

"What is it?" She rubbed her eyes.

"I can't show up to school like this so I was wondering if I could either borrow a different pair of clothes or you could lend me some money" Sowon whispered. She kept glancing at Eunwoo to make sure he was still sleeping.

"Well my clothes don't fit you and I'm sure you won't like any of his clothes so I'll just get you some money" Eunha offered as she got out of bed. Sowon nodded and followed Eunha back down the stairs where her wallet was.

"I'm gonna be late" Sowon sighed as Eunha handed her the money.

"How? It's only 2:40am"

"I have to walk there and driving there takes three hours. I probably won't even make it back before tonight but it's worth a shot. I'm leaving the car for the others if they need to go do something" Sowon grabbed the money from Eunha's hands and smiled along with a ninety degree bow. She wanted her to know that she appreciated it.

"Why don't you take the bus or cab?"

"I don't have money and I don't want you to spend so much money on me. Plus, there aren't too many buses or cabs at this time" Sowon snickered, she seemed annoyed though.

"I don't have enough money right now for a cab but I can drive you there. Let's hurry so you can get there on time" Sowon couldn't argue with Eunha since she was already grabbing her keys to the car. Sowon silently walked to the car.

"Thanks for driving me. You do realize this is going to take you three hours right?" Sowon felt a bit guilty.

"I don't mind it. I'll stop by here and you can get a pair of clothes" Eunha pulled into the parking lot of a store. She sat in the car while she waited for Sowon to find a pair of clothes inside.

It was already 2:58am when Sowon got back in the car in a hurry. Eunha immediately sped off before Sowon could even get her seatbelt on, she didn't want her to be late to her classes.

"How do you focus during school this early in the morning?" Eunha asked.

"I'm not sure. I usually get about four or three hours of sleep every night and do just fine during school. I know that one day it will catch up to me though" Sowon sighed and rested her head on the palm of her hand.

"Well you should go back to sleep while I drive"

"Really? Would that be okay with you? It just sounds a bit disrespectful" Sowon widened her eyes.

"It's fine, really. I won't mind"

"Thanks" Sowon stared out the window for a few minutes until her eyes shut completely and all the noises faded away.
