"Hey there little lady, you look lost" a man suddenly came up behind Eunha and scared the hell out of her.
"Jesus christ" Eunha jumped back and took a deep breath before continuing. "Do you know where I can find Jihyun? I thought this was her building but it looks like a bar" Eunha said as she looked at the massive room. All the flashing lights bothered her a bit.
"This is just kind of a cover up for her room. She has a secret place downstairs. Follow me and I'll have someone take you to her" he grabbed Eunha's hand and led her to a dark pathway. She was a bit creeped out at first but then as she went further back the path got lighter.
"She'll take you to Jihyun" the man handed Eunha off to some random woman.
"So what brings you here? Any specific reason why you're here to talk to Jihyun?" The lady asked as she led Eunha to a room.
"Nope. Just wanna talk and do some business" Eunha shrugged.
"Well here you are" she opened the door and gestured for Eunha to go inside.
Once Eunha entered the door was closed behind her. The walls were painted red with a sort of Chinese decoration theme. She averted her eyes from the cool swords and looked at the woman sitting in a comfy chair in front of her.
"Hello" Eunha politely bowed.
"Welcome. Have a seat" Jihyun looked down at the empty chair in front of her desk.
"My name is Eunha" she held her hand out to shake while she sat down.
"Tell me what your real name is, Eunha" she had a suspicious smile.
"Jung Eunbi" Eunha hesitated for a moment. She didn't know if she was supposed to give her real name or not but she already felt like she was taking long enough to think about it so she just blurted it out without even thinking about the consequences if something bad happened.
"Now why are you here?" She raised her eyebrows. Jihyun didn't just let anyone into her business. You had to be very skilled. You had to be one of the best.
"I need money" Eunha decided to be honest. It was actually better to be honest so that the interrogator would trust you more. "I've been a hitman for awhile now but I lost my job about a year ago so now I've been living off one income which is my husband's" Eunha could barely keep her eyes glued to Jihyun's because she had such an intense and powerful stare. It almost reminded her of how Sowon and Eunbi's eyes were.
"Hm. Are you good?"
"I'm extremely skilled" Eunha was still being honest. At least she thought she was good at her job.
"I can't have a pregnant woman working for me" Jihyun looked her up and down which caused Eunha to blush and become anxious.
"I mean after I deliver the baby" Eunha explained. Of course she wasn't going to work here while she is already seven months pregnant.
"You mean after you lose the baby weight" Jihyun seemed to have no filter or respect. Eunha thought she was quite rude and that's probably why Sowon is able to work with her and get along with her, because they're both mean.
"Yes of course" Eunha tried to remain calm.
"Alright then come see me after you lose the baby weight and then we can talk. Go now" Jihyun shooed her away and grabbed a piece of paper off her desk to look at.
"But I...ok" Eunha sighed and slowly walked out the door.
Eunha slowly walked down the path in order to listen to people's conversations. Most of them were dressed in black and smoking cigarettes. They were obviously working for Jihyun since no one else was allowed back here besides her hitmen or women.
"First day working for her and she's already Jihyun's pet" one man scoffed. He was clearly annoyed with another woman who just started the job.
"Jihyun has always favored the girls. She acts like a lesbian" another one agreed.
"She has a husband, no way"
"Doesn't matter. She's still sleeping with other people behind his back. She's slept with both men and women. I bet she's sleeping with that Sojung girl of hers. She must be good in bed since she's already Jihyun's favorite" Eunha stopped in her tracks after that comment. She stared at the smoke coming out of his mouth, thinking of what to do. She didn't want to get involved with men like them, especially not ones who smoked cigarettes.
"You really think so?" He didn't know whether to believe the other guys nonsenses.
"There's no way in hell some random girl can come busting through the door like that and already have her finger wrapped around Jihyun"
"Well she is hot...and tall" and that's how Eunha knew they were talking about the same Sojung that she knew.
She rushed out of the building. She had to tell the others what happened and she had to tell them now. As she was about half way to the building another man grabbed her arm and stopped her.
"Where do you think you're going?" He looked at her suspiciously. She was now freaking out inside and thinking that he was going to kill her.
"I-I was just leaving" Eunha stuttered.
"Do you think you can get out of here without anyone noticing? What did you do? I saw you come from the path" he gripped tightly onto her arm, afraid that she might run away any moment.
"I was just talking to Jihyun about working here" she responded innocently.
"I don't think so. I know when someone is lying to me. You're coming with me" he pulled her along but was only able to get a few steps forward.
"She's with me, don't worry about her" the man turned around and looked up at the tall woman standing before him.
"Sojung, my bad" he immediately let her hand go and bowed for his assumption.
"Get out of here" She shooed him away.
"Sowon why are you here?" Eunha looked up at her while she rubbed her sore arm.
"I could ask you the same question. Now get out of here" Sowon looked over at the door.
"No tell me why you're working for her" Eunha refused to leave until she got answers.
"That doesn't matter ok? I'm just trying to make some money" Sowon looked around the room. She looked worried as if someone were listening to them.
"Money for what?"
"So I can buy a house, is that what you want to hear?" Sowon sighed.
"Why? I said you can live with me"
"Eunha are you stupid? I don't want to live with you forever and I'm sure you feel the same. And you said you'd provide for us until we are able to make more money and buy a place so that's exactly what I'm doing" Sowon rolled her eyes. She didn't have time to deal with Eunha right now. She had a lot of business to take care of, a lot of people to get rid of.
