Was she really ready for a relationship again or was she just convincing herself that she was? She kept trying to distract herself but she couldn't take her eyes off the ring that was shinning on her desk by the window.
"Let me know when you've made your final decision"
Kim's words kept repeating in Sowons head. She was about ready to throw a tantrum because she was so confused and frustrated. Kim was moving too fast for Sowons liking, they had just started dating and she already wanted to commit to something a little bit more. It wasn't a marriage ring, but it was still important.
"Are you okay?" Yuju stood at the doorway, concern written on her face.
"Yeah, perfect. Just a little hungover from last night" Sowon smiled, her hand covering her forehead.
"Well Umji is showing symtoms of the flu so I'm going to be taking care of her for a few days, if there's anything you need just let me know"
"Wait...do you know about...her abortion?" Sowon asked as Yuju was leaving the room.
"Yes I do, but that's her business, not ours"
"You're right. Can you tell Eunbi to come here real quick?"
"I don't know where she's at. She wasn't in her room when I checked but her shoes are still downstairs by the door" Yuju informed, stepping back into the room.
"Interesting. Is everyone else home?"
"Yeah, well besides Eunha. Actually, no one has seen her since last night. She just disappeared I guess" Yuju said, not knowing that Eunha had actually left them behind again.
"Ok..." Sowon tried to make it look like she didn't care but they all know that's not the truth. Eunha was her biggest concern, and she always would be.
"Well I'm gonna go back to Umji's room now. Can you possibly make some soup for her? I'm begging you" Yuju put her hands up in a praying position.
"Of course" Sowon smiled at her.
"Thanks Sowon, you're the best!" Yuju returned the kind gesture before sprinting down the hall and back to Umji's room.

"Sowon is making you some-" Yuju opened the door only to walk into an empty room.
She called out Umji's name but got no response. Maybe she left? She looked under all the blankets and pillows but couldn't find her. It wasn't until she was walking out of the room that the disturbing and disgusting noises coming from the bathroom had caught her attention.
She was afraid to look in the room because she knew exactly what Umji was doing. But she couldn't let Umji suffer alone, she wanted to help her. Yuju rushed towards the door.
She hurried to Umji's aid and held her hair back while she puked into the toilet. Yuju kept her eyes closed, too afraid to look at the gross stuff she was puking out. She also kept her face as far away as possible so Umji didn't puke on her and so that she couldn't smell the vomit.
After a few minutes of Umji puking her guts out she finally moved her head a little bit away from the toilet. She kept her eyes glued to the oatmeal looking vomit in the toilet.
"I'll go get you some water to get rid of that nasty taste" Yuju let go of Umji's hair and tried to stand to her feet.
"Stay" Umji grabbed Yuju's ankle because she didn't know where Yujus arms or hands were at.
"I'll be right back. Don't you want to get rid of that taste in your mouth?" Yuju raised her eyebrows with a bit of a distasteful expression.
"I have a-" Umji quickly threw her head over the toilet, letting out more of what looked like oatmeal.
"I'll be back, keep your hair up" Yuju swiftly got up and ran down the stairs, not knowing that Umji was trying to tell her that she already had a cup on the nightstand by her bed.
"Oh my" Kim gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. "Umji are you okay?" Kim knelt down by her and helped hold her hair back and away from the toilet.
"Oh..." Yuju froze stiff by the doorway, the glass of water shaking in her hands.
"Yuju I don't think Umji is feeling good. She's puking" Kim grabbed the water out of Yujus hands and helped Umji to slowly sip some water every few seconds.
"I..." Yuju stood there and watched Kim replace her position in taking care of Umji. It made her angry for some reason.
She was the one that got water for her and planned on helping Umji but Kim just had to come and ruin it of course. Not to mention the fact that Yuju obviously already knew Umji isn't feeling good.
"You should take better care of your friends so they don't get sick" Kim looked up at Yuju.
"I guess..." Yuju didn't know what to say. She could never stand up for herself. She couldn't advocate like others could.
"You can go relax, I'll take care of her" Kim reassuringly smiled.
Yuju stood there for a moment, confused and frustrated with Kim. She wanted so badly to say no but she didn't know how. She felt like she was being rude whenever she said no. All she wanted to do was help Umji because she felt bad for the situation she put her in.
"No!" Out of nowhere, Yuju shouted.
Kim looked up in shock. She had never heard of Yuju being an agressive person, and that's because she's not. Although Yuju hated yelling at people, she cared for Umji more than anyone else and that passion for the younger female drove her to go wild at times, but only if it involved Umji. If it was anyone else, she'd most likely mind her own business.
"...what?"
"I said no! I was already taking care of her first! I want to take care of her!" Yuju grabbed the empty glass out of her hand with a mean glare.
Yuju felt proud of herself for finally standing up to someone and speaking what was on her mind. She felt relieved. She stood tall and proud with a smile and a confident look and aura.
"I wasn't saying that you can't take care of her. I didn't mean-"
"Get out" Yuju said with gritted teeth.
"Sorry" Kim quickly bowed and ran out of the room in a hurry.
