Veronica looked at the clock. "I should go.. it's getting late." She sighed. They looked at the clock. "It's too late to go outside, would you mind staying?" Brian said. You closed your eyes and took in took in her response, which was obviously 'No'. "I'll sleep in Freddie's room, you can share the bed with Y/n." Roger said.
You weren't about to sleep next to the devil. But, sack up. You smiled and agreed, which made Veronica slightly surprised. "Speaking of Freddie's room, why the hell didn't one of you move in?" You asked. "Alright, let's get upstairs." Roger said, changing the subject and ignoring your question. Veronica yawned. "Gosh, i'm so tired." She said, Roger placed his hand on her lower back and leading her up the stairs. You followed them.
Roger grabbed news pillows and blankets and put them on Freddie's bed. He walked into your room. "Everything all right?" Roger asked. You took of your necklace, ignoring him. Veronica happily nodded. "Goodnight Veronica." He said, closing the door. "Night to you too, asshole." You said, walking to the door. "You're not going to bed?" She asked, you opened the door and didn't notice Roger was still standing there. "You actually think i'm sleeping in the same bed as you?" You said, looking back at her and back in front of you. Roger frowned, crossing his arms. You rolled your eyes. "Bite me." You said, walking past him and purposely bumping into him. You walked into the kitchen, John and Brian already asleep.
You sat down. You looked at the clock. "11 pm.. seriously?" You thought.
You honestly didn't want to go sleep in your bed. So, only thing to do. Pull an all nighter, which requires coffee and food to go off.
You made a first batch of coffee.
You sat down and started to take sips when the phone rang. Not wanting to wake up Brian or John, you ran to the phone and picked it up.
"I have been calling all day, where the hell have you been?!" Freddie shouted. "What? They've all been in the kitchen all day with Veronica!" You said, sighing. "Veronica? That bitch? And those bastards, ignoring my calls!" He shouted again. "Be quiet. You're gonna wake up Mary." You said. "And yes. THE Veronica, she hypnotized them.." You said, jumping onto the counter. "Don't worry she's up, she's been worrying about you as well." Freddie said. You smiled. "Anyways. Veronica is now sleeping in my bed and i'm not planning to sleep there. Which means.. no sleep at all!" You said with fake enthusiasm. "Poor child. Want us to meet with you? We can stay up together." Freddie said. You sighed again. "I'd love to meet you, it's almost midnight. Go to sleep." You said, still smiling. "None sense! We'll be right over." He said, bossing around. "Fine, can we walk to the pub?" You asked. "Of course. Be there in 15 minutes." Freddie said, clearly smiling as well. "Alright. Bye Fred." You said, hanging up.
You still were dressed so that wasn't a problem. You finished your coffee and waited for them to arrive.
-10 minutes later-
You heard the doorbell ring, you already had your shoes on so you just opened the door and put on a coat. "Thank you so much for meeting me." You said, hugging Mary and Freddie. You closed the door and started walking with them to the pub.
You told them the situation.
"I swear, if they invite her to the studio i'm gonna fucking kill them." Freddie said as he opened the door to the pub, letting you and Mary in. You sat down in a booth. "I'll come to the studio with you to keep an eye on her." Mary said, squeezing your hand. You smiled. "Thanks, you don't have to." You said. She let go. "I'm still coming, though." She said, smiling back. "You can't give them the cold shoulder for ever." Freddie said. "I can until they move out or until i kick them out." You said, eating a peanut. "You can't do that.. If anything kick Veronica out and do so every time she comes back." Freddie said. You sighed. "I don't know. It's been just a day. We'll see." You said and smiled even though Freddie and Mary probably knew it was a smile of desperation. "As much as i hate to say it, pretend. Pretend around them and until things get out of control, either she or they cross the line.. kick them out. It's them or her, really." Mary said. Freddie looked at her. "I agree, but they still are my band mates and best friends, they'll be mad at me for letting Y/n kick them out." Freddie said to Mary. "But darling, she has to do what she needs to." Mary said, looking at you. "Do whatever you think is right." Freddie said, slightly agreeing with Mary. "Can we get drinks, please?" You asked the waiter as he walked by. He nodded and came back with Pepsi's for everyone. "After you're finished, lock up." The waiter said, putting the keys on your table and walking out. "Do they know you well?" Freddie asked, you nodded. "Would you want to come for breakfast? Not now, though." You asked, playing around with the keys. "Of course." Mary said. "We'll get to see how they treat her.." Freddie mumbled, taking a sip of his pepsi. "When around Veronica, be slightly mad. Give hints that you're upset and around the boys be the same." Freddie said. You sighed, finishing your drink.
You got up, grabbing the keys. They got up as well. "Call us, no matter what time." Mary said, hugging you. You nodded and hugged Freddie. You all walked to your house and said your goodbyes one more time. You walked into the house, locking the door.
"Where the hell have you been?" Roger said, crossing his arms at the top of the stairs. "It's 1 am!" He said. You sighed, walking into the kitchen. He followed. "Don't ignore me, you could have been seriously hurt." He said, grabbing your shoulder and turning you around. You grabbed his hand, pulling it away from your shoulder. "Thank you for your concern. I met up with Mary and Freddie." You said, throwing his hand down to his side. "This late?" He said. "Yes! You can ask them if you don't believe me." You said, walking to the coffee machine.
You realized you were a bit too obvious. Remember, pretend and be slightly mad.
"Look, i'm fine. They were worried about me because none of you were picking up the phone." You said, making coffee. He sighed. "Don't make coffee! You need to go to bed." Roger said. "Last time i checked, there was someone in my bed?" You said, pouring the boiling water into a mug. "Go to bed, Roger. Please." You said, softening your voice. He rolled his eyes and walked away. You sighed in slight relief and sat down, stirring your coffee.
You sat there thinking about what Mary and Freddie told you.
It's gonna be more interesting, i swear!
