Noah’s P.O.V.
I woke up hearing noise in the living room and glance at the clock. The bright red letters burned my eyes. 2am it said. Isn’t that a bit early to return? Maybe it’s just someone walking around the hotel, I reassured myself. I closed my eyes, hiding underneath the warm blankets. Let’s hope the lads have fun. A loud noise in front of my door made me tremble. Calm down, Noah. You’ve had this before, it’s just a hallucination. The truth was that I was terrified. I hated sleeping alone. When darkness was all around me, every single sound seemed like the laugh of a ghost. Every creak seemed like their footsteps. One noise was enough for me to write a whole horror movie in my head. I tried to think of the lads, of their smiles, their comforting words, desperate for a Niall’s safe arms. I shivered, all sudden, the blankets felt so cold. The thought cheek kisses and side hugs distracted me for a while, that was until the door opened. Just pretend you’re asleep, a small voice yelled in my head, as footsteps approached my bed. Maybe they’re just checking up on you, wanting to know whether you’re alright? But that last reassuring thought on my mind vanished, when I smelled Zayn’s breath close to my face. “Wake up, Noah.” He yelled, his words slurred because of the alcohol. No, leave me alone. I kept pretending I was sleeping, hoping he’d leave. He didn’t. “Wake up.” He repeated, his angry tone scaring me. “WAKE UP.” He grasped my hair, pulling me out of bed. I desperately tried to hold on to the bed, but he was stronger than me. Way stronger. He dragged me to the living room, things falling and breaking when we passed. His strong arms pinned me against the wall, his grip around my wrists tightening. “You’re drunk, Zayn. Go to bed and we’ll talk tomorrow.” I tried to keep my voice neutral, but in reality, it was trembling as a leaf in the rough autumn wind. He laughed harsh, his horrible breath almost making me faint. His hand made contact with my cheek, the contrast between my pale skin and his tanned one clear. Soon, my skin wasn’t as white anymore, a red stain appeared on it. A loud band and a stinging pain. That’s how I’ll remember it. “Stupid girl, the oldest always makes the rules. And I say you and I are staying right here.” His hands found their way to my throat, cutting off my air supply. This can’t be happening. Where’s Liam? Calling him is my only chance. I gathered all my strength , still desperately in need of air, and kicked him in his crotch. He gasped, backing off. I took my shot and ran away with my phone. The pain I felt was paralyzing, but the fear kept me going. His hands grabbed the back off my shirt, I tried to escape. He might be drunk, but I have that cut in my leg. I yelped out in pain when his fist smashed it, blood pouring out of the wound. “Don’t you dare the run away.” My breath hitched, as he threw my against the light brown walls. In a matter of seconds, all the strength in my body disappeared. Too bad Noah, you ran out of chances.
Liam’s P.O.V.
I walked through the corridor of our hotel, dragging Harry with me. He’s totally wasted. Behind me, Niall and Louis are chatting. They’re not that drunk, but they’re words are slurred and they can’t walk in a straight line. I sent Zayn home earlier this night, ‘cause Haz said someone had put something in his drink. When I pushed down the door handle, I dropped the curly boy on the ground. Absolutely frozen, I stared at the horrid scene in front of me. Liam, move. My mind yelled at me, but my body wouldn’t move. I was watching Zayn beating Noah. Her body laid lifeless in his hands, covered with blood. Through the strands of, now dirty, blond hair, I saw the fear in her eyes. Neither of them had noticed me coming in. She needs help. She needs your help. When these words had sunk in, blood pumped through my veins. I ran into the room, hitting Zayn’s jaw. He fell back, surrendering immediately. “Louis, bring him to his room. I don’t want to see him again tonight. Niall make some room on the couch.” I growled, walking towards Noah. I picked her up, but she tried to crawl to the corner of the room. Her eyes were filled with shock and fear, soft whimpers escaping her mouth. “Shh, I won’t hurt you, love. Calm down, you’re safe now.” I whispered, gently stroking the blond locks out of her face. She suddenly hugged me, a desperate gesture that came out of nowhere. I answered her embrace and she hid in my warm chest. In a matter of seconds, blood stained my white shirt, but I couldn’t care less. I laid her down on the couch, examining her body. There were bruises everywhere, luckily there were no broken bones. Only a broken heart and trust. Though that takes way longer to repair. Louis entered the room, his face red from anger. He tried to comfort Niall, who was crying endlessly. “Can you guys bring Harry away.” My rough voice surprised me, as I pointed at the sleeping lad on the floor, the same spot where I had dropped him earlier. I made some room for Niall and he took a seat, his fallen angel secure in his arms. They rocked back and forward, as two twigs in an autumn breeze. “I’m sorry, Noah. I’m so sorry.” His words echoed in the room, making the silence sound even scarier. She shook her head, still trembling. “It’s not your fault, Niall. It’s no one’s fault.” Her words hit me, she really is an angel. “IT’S ZAYN’S FAULT.” Louis yelled loudly and Noah shrank in. “No it’s not. Don’t blame him, blame the alcohol.” She whispered peaceful and calm, even though her body was shaking terribly. She then turned to be, tilting her head a bit, she asked: “Can I please take a shower now, Liam?” Her eyes burned wholes in my chest, the usual twinkles were replaced by exhaustion and even a bit of fear. I nodded quickly and helped her out of Niall’s grip, carrying her to the bathroom. “Thanks so much.” She whispered when I put her down on the floor. “Please calm them down while I’m away?” Her pleads broke my heart. “Sure. Now give yourself a break, call me as soon as you’re finished.” I planted a kiss on her forehead before walking back to the living room. “We fucked it up, guys.”
Noah’s P.O.V.
I stepped out of the shower, water dripping on the cold floor. I wished I could’ve stayed longer, but there was no way my legs could carry me any longer. While drying my skin, I heard the boys fight in the room next to me. “YOU RUINED HER, ZAYN. YOU RUINED MY LIFE. YOU RUINED ME.” By the end of the sentence, Niall’s loud yelling had turned into whimpering. I winced at their loud voices, still shocked. Niall felt so guilty, they all do. But there’s no need for that feeling. I just wanted to fall asleep his arms and forget about this. Yes, Zayn made a mistake, that’s what humans do. It’s not even his fault. I had heard them talk about a brunette putting pouring something in his drink. Why? Why would someone do this to him? Why would someone do this to me? To us?

Hmm.. Do you blame Zayn? Are the lads overreacting? Why did the girl put something in his drink? Will Noah be alright? Tell me your opinion!
