Kara's POV

I can't believe we are here.

I smile at George as he opens the door and follows me into the restaurant.

It's the place we went to when George had proposed. I haven't been back here in nearly six years but I recognized it right away. George pulls out my chair and scoots it in as I sit. He sits across from me, smiling broadly.

"Should we do gifts now? Or later?" I ask after we've ordered.

"Later." George says.

"My gift is gonna blow your socks off Mrs. Harrison." He says pretend evilly.

I smile at him.

"Oh really? Because I'm pretty sure mine is going to win." I joke back.

He smiles and lets out a laugh. We enjoy light conversation as we eat. George watches as I eat, looking happy as I finish my plate. He offers the rest of his meal and I nod and smile.

"Thanks baby." I say with a forkful of spaghetti.

George just smiles.

George's POV

I was so happy to see Kara eat all that. It was the most I'd seen her eat in one sitting in like two years.

When we've finished eating, I lead Kara out the doors. Without hesitation, the moment we get outside, I take off my jacket and put it over Kara's shoulder. She smiles as me and reaches for my hand.

"Shall we take a walk?" I ask.

She looks up at me. She has a glint in her eyes as she smiles.

"I'd love to."
