"Planning another bank heist?"
"It's Tuesday Romanoff. I can restrain myself."
*Yes I use Nina Dobrev Gifs purely because I have a crap tone stored up and I'm planning this to be a long book series so I can't use someone with a lesser known face just like my other written books. Imagine whoever you want but for my aesthetic reasons and how I enjoy beginning my chapters I will be using her gifs. If you don't like it or decide to message me about this I will flat out tell you to suck a lemon cause it's really not that big of an issue*
The café is uniquely quiet this afternoon. Perhaps it is the strangely warm summer air that's breezed through Wisconsin on this sunny afternoon. People walked past in their shorts and shirts; children pulling at their parent's hands for a sweet treat to ward off the heat. A small smile graces my lips at their excitement when the ice-cream man would pass them a cone from his stall, their little faces lighting up in joy. Their innocence too harsh against the reality of the world.
Quietly my attention turns back to the bank schematics that're displayed on my laptop. The job I'm planning to pull off won't be easy. The vault is retina protected meaning I would not only have to find the exact eyeball I need but it would mean someone will have to see me. So far I've managed to remain out of government cells and I plan on keeping it that way.
"Planning another bank heist?" A familiar bob of red hair slides into my booth, helping herself to a sip of the warm coffee I'd been enjoying.
Rolling my eyes at her intense stare peering over the ceramic, I take back the mug with a sweet smile "It's Tuesday Romanoff. I can restrain myself."
Scoffing, she rolls her vibrant green eyes in my direction, "You absolutely cannot."
Raising my brow I sigh, closing the lid on my laptop to stop the agent from snooping. "So how'r we going to do it this time?" I wonder, folding my arms across my chest as I lean back comfortable in the booths leather. When she continues to give me her usual stoic glare I tiredly add, "We've done this dance hundreds of times. Might I remind you that all SHEILD's evidence has been considered circumstantial?"
