"What're they doing medalling with that kind of energy in the first place?"
"Now you're asking the right questions Sparkles."
Getting back to the Helicarrier we all disembarked silently whilst Loki is escorted inside. Romanoff claims to be fetching Banner as Tony gets directed straight to medical. The rest of us walk the familiar route into the main room. SHIELD agents busily running around to keep us aloft. Stalking over to the railing I lean against it as Thor paces across the platform glancing around curiously. Perhaps they don't have technology like this in Asgard. Hell perhaps he thinks that we're the unevolved ones.
"I don't like the look he gave me", Banner voices softly to the group as he leans on the backrest of a chair. Silently Romanoff takes a seat to his left as Steve remains quiet to Banner's right.
"He's the God of Mischief", I remark out loud "I don't think his vibe is meant to scream kittens."
Ignoring my comment Romanoff pulls up security footage from the room Loki has been escourted to. Intrigued I push myself off the railing, shuffling closer to get a better look. Loki hasn't been placed in the usual SHEILD holding cells- I'd know. Instead, they've placed him in a large circular prison made of glass. However, if I had to guess they would have increased the thickness of the glass to prevent an escape.
"In case it is unclear" Fury begins, strolling around the cell to a control board "You try to escape...You so much as scratch that glass..." Pressing a few buttons I watch in awe as the metal floor beneath the cell spirals open, wind gushing up through the track. Peering over the edge, apprehension washes over Loki's features as Fury explains over the gushing wind "Thirty thousand feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Closing up the trap Fury gestures to Loki, "Ant." Pointing to the controls he states, "Boot."
I quirk my brow when Loki begins to laugh. Showfully throwing out his arms "It's an impressive cage. Not built- I think- for me."
With an agreeable nod, Fury adds sternly "Built for something a lot stronger than you."
