"Just... know you have a friend here on Earth."
"Same goes for you."
"Adeline slow down."
"I can't" I brush Bucky's comment bouncing on one foot, tugging clumsily on my boots. It's proving rather difficult as my jeans have zero stretches to them. Hopping towards the kitchen, I call out "I don't want to miss saying goodbye!"
Before I face plant the floor Bucky wanders around the white kitchen island and grabs my arm as if he was already two steps ahead of the disaster that is me. Passing me a slice of toast, Bucky remarks "You should've thought about that before you hit snooze."
"For five minutes", I grumble to Bucky stressfully taking a large bite as he stalks across our apartment "It wasn't supposed to stretch into twenty!"
"Then you should've thought about getting more sleep instead of finishing your book", Bucky quips right-back despite my grumbling.
Arching my eyebrow as Bucky wanders back over with a black coat of mine, I point out "Firstly I only had a seventy pages left. Like hell I was leaving that until morning." Letting Bucky help slip my hands through my coat I add defensively "And Twilight is a literary masterpiece. I don't care what anyone says. In fifty years it will be a cult classic and guess who's gonna be laughing then. Here's a hint- not you."
