"Why do I get the feeling you're about to do something I'm not alright with?"
"Because you're a thousand percent correct. Don't look too uncomfortable."
"Maybe the flight to London?" Bucky points out on the departure listing above our heads as we wait in line at the airport "Leaves in twenty minutes."
Shaking my head, I knowing "If whoever shot up my apartment has followed us they'd expect us to take the first flight out of the country."
"The fourth flight out is to Romania", Bucky tells me after a silent moment "Take off in fifty minutes."
Humming I hike the backpack further up my shoulder "Sounds like a plan." After a long ten minute wait, we are finally at the front desk. "One way to Aurel Vlaciu International Airport", I tell the woman behind the monitor "Bucharest Romania."
With a tight-lipped smile, the woman types away obnoxiously on her keyboard "Will that bag be to carry on or-"
"Carry on", I cut the woman off, hastily offering a smile in an attempt to smooth over my snappy attitude. Grabbing our tickets I hand them over for Bucky to hold as we make our way towards the international flight's security checkpoint. Taking note of the metal detectors as well as the security which are patrolling it, Bucky murmurs quietly "How do you expect to get well over fifteen thousand grand past them?"
"Sometimes you've just got to roll with the punches", I optimistically advise Bucky when I don't come up with anything more reassuring. Glancing up to Bucky I catch him watching me unnerved by the situation we're in. "What I've learned from being on the run is to know your audience", I explain quickly and quietly "You know your audience you can manipulate them."
"Why do I get the feeling you're about to do something I'm not alright with?"
"Because you're a thousand percent correct." Ignoring scowl remark I wrap his human arm around my shoulders "Try to not look too uncomfortable." Ducking under the black security line I add a little sway to my hips as I staunter purposefully towards the gap in the checkpoint. Phone to my ear I snap full of frustration and impatience, "The wait time is absurd. Two hours I have been waiting for my jet and nothing! No apologies from any staff only excuse-"
