"Hey. It's me, Bucky. You know that already though. I know you're sleeping and you're going to find this tomorrow... I guess I just wanted to hear your voice. I had a dream... or a nightmare...a memory. It was nasty and bloody... I suppose I'm just a little on edge and now I can't fall back to sleep. I wish you were here Adeline, I miss you being here with me. I know you're off saving the world like the hero I know you are and it's selfish to want you home with me... but I do. I love you, stay safe for me. Bye...End damn you... Why won't you-I am hitting the red button dang i-"

Chuckling I tuck my phone into my back jean pocket. Picking up my black duffle bag I sling it over my shoulder and walk out of my room. Walking down the corridor I peer around the corner. Sam and Steve are having a conversation in the kitchen, beer in either hand. Sam must have made a joke because Steve's laughter booms through the small space for a long minute before Natasha tosses a cushion in his direction, a smile of her own rested on her lips before she returns her attention to Wanda who's smiling at the trio. We'd rescued Wanda, Clint, Scott, and Sam from the Raft yesterday; keeping my promise which has lifted my spirit seeing that we can all still be happy even divided. Clint remained, however, telling us he can't be with his family as a fugitive. Understanding, Steve and I gave him the coordinates to Wakanda which would be useless anyway considering the city is cloaked by their technology. Honestly this place is kind of amazing. Alas, the small piece of information has granted Clint house arrest. According to T'Challa Clint had them sign the deal before he gave up the coordinates which were a smart play. I portalled Scott back to America much to his displeasure- not loving the upchuck he'd done in the middle of our living room. Apparently, he wanted to see his daughter back home which of course we all understood. That then leaves Sam and Wanda here with Steve and Natasha. Knowing the four of them have each other brings me solace and leaves me feeling less guilty about leaving, seeing their happy joyous grins and bursts of laughter.

"What's with the bag, Addie?"

Stepping a little further into the room I pull a tight smile onto my lips as I inform them curtly "I'm heading out."
