Normal POV~

"I'm guessing the souls have become complete darkness where I'm turning. Some of there souls aren't even being consumed a lot. Maybe their minds are consumed with darkness." Atem wondered out loud, walking with the bubble still around him, souls tried to get in with him but failed.

"I hope I'm not too late, how much time is left?" Atem said, summoning a three hour time glass and saw how much sand was left. About two days with two more hours.

"Enough time to look for him. I will make sure when we get out of here I'll make a mind link between us, why have I never thought of that?" Atem asked himself, seeing other souls being slowly consumed by darkness and tortured. The tanned man sighed.

"I just hope Yami isn't suffering this, he's pure light and it will hurt him a lot mentally. Light is not to be consumed in darkness, they are just too pure for being darkness." Atem reminded himself, which caused him to speed up.

"I'll find him before the time stops, I don't care if I have to stay here to get him out. I'll manage in here, or die myself trying." Atem declared, looking around desperately to find Yami.

'Nothing. I can't see anything from the waist down. Am I becoming darkness? Why am I consumed and the others not? The others seem to just roam around and taunt me. Why!'

"You're becoming one of us, light. We've haven't been expecting another one followed by that other light that somehow escaped two days ago. Everything you know will be replaced with other dark things, it won't hurt that much alright? We don't know anything else except or bad past moments. But don't worry, every sad thing will be gone like a rich woman buying her new pair of shoes. We can't wait until you become one of us." A soul said in his ear. Yami shuttered and tried to move, but it hurt too move in any way.

"Don't move, it will be less painful if you don't. Start eating his memories, keep the bad ones" The soul said, the other souls snickered and went to Yami, clinging to the waist up.

"No! Don't! Please! I don't want to forget my friends or Atem!" Yami shouted, feeling the souls do what they were told.

"I won!" Bakura announced.

"Hey! No fair!" Malik retorted, crossing his arms as he looked at the floorboard game. They made snakes and ladders with rocks and Marik gave them a dice to roll.

"I got a ladder, so it is fair. Want to play again?" Bakura asked, Malik, nodded and grinned.

"Hey, Seto! Want to play a lap with us? You don't have to." Malik offered, Seto looked at them.

"A round wouldn't hurt." Seto accepted. He then walked to them and sat down, grabbing a larger rock to make it as his player.

"Ok, round start!"

"Well at least they're sparing time," Akefia said, leaning against the wall as they saw the other three play.

"Shouldn't we spare some time as well?" Marik asked, earning a shrug from Seth and Akefia.

"Maybe... Getting some food? I'm kind of getting a bit hungry." Marik commented, Akefia rolled his eyes.

"Why at times like this you're always hungry? You won't die of hunger you know." Akefia said

"I'm hungry when I'm bored," Marik said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Maybe getting food would be a good idea. We won't die of hunger, but I'm sure those three will. They need food in their system. Whilst we shouldn't worry about that with ourselves. Young ones come first after all." Seth said, the two nodded.

"Great! Now I have a question... What kind of food should we get?" Marik questioned.

"One of us should head back to the palace and get some food. Obviously, I can't, so either Marik or you, Seth." Akefia said, thinking of what food they could get.

"I'll go, so it could give me a reason to tell everyone why their Pharaoh is gone. I'll get the food and tell them we're traveling somewhere and that we need food." Seth said, watching the two nod.

"Sounds good enough, basically no one would question that," Marik said, seeing Seth walk out the building after that.

"Now we wait for the Pharaoh, and the food," Marik said, watching Akefia sigh.

"Sounds about right, but you do know the food is mostly for them right?" Akefia said. Marik grinning and nodded.

"Yeah I know, but I'm sure Malik wouldn't mind sharing with me," Marik said, Akefia chuckled.

"I'm looking forward to your failing if you do fail. If you do succeed, I'll be disappointed but at least I know he loves you so much to let you have some of his food at a moment like this." Akefia said, Marik smirked.

"Is that a challenge?" Marik quizzed, Akefia smirked as well.

"It might be," Akefia said.

"Then it's on." Marik challenged.

"Alright, challenge accepted."

"Getting sleep right now is something you shouldn't think about right now! You'll stay awake until you find Yami!" Atem yelled to himself, yawning slightly behind his hand.

"A thirty-minute nap wouldn't be bad, but I have to find Yami in time. Every second counts." Atem said, summoning a thirty-minute glass.

"This will explode when it is done, my time for a nap starts as soon as I fall asleep." Atem said, cursing himself for just taking a small nap. He laid down and kept the bubble around him, his time starting when he began sleeping.

***

"Don't take away all my memories, please..." Yami pleaded, feeling a pull in his memories.

"Malik... Bakura... Akefia... Marik... Atem..." Yami whispered, feeling those wonderful memories starting to fade away. He looked down wearily, seeing his chest now covered in darkness.

"They are my best friends... My lover..." Yami said, feeling a memory he cared about being erased. When he met both his best friends in middle school.

"NO! Leave that one ALONE!" Yami screamed, feeling a soul crawling beside him.

"Can't do, we have to erase that one. Sorry." The soul said, fake sorrow in its voice.

"Now we shall continue," It said once again, going away from Yami and continuing his work.

"Stop! Please! Leave them alone!"

To Be Continued~

Hello, my fellow Saiyan duelists! I'm back with another chapter in this book, and I can't wait for the next chapter. Yami will be finally free from the Shadow Realm, hopefully. Did you enjoy the chapter? Not like enjoy it like happy about it, like satisfaction on how it was made. Does that make any sense? At all? You know what, let me stop with the questions. Next chapter, "Saving Yami". I mean that is already happening, but Atem finds Yami and tries to save him from the darkness consuming him and to also recover the lost memories. Nothing bad could happen, right? Right...?

See you in the next chapter bye!
