Normal POV~

"ATEM!!" Atem sat up faster than light and looked at Yami, looking so terrified. Like he has seen Anubis ready to take him.

"What is it?" Atem asked quickly. Yami snapped his head towards him.

"MylegsarefadingfasterandIdon'tknowwhattodo!" Yami said that so fast Atem barely knew what he said.

"Yami, calm down. And tell me that once again." Atem said. Before he could hug him, Yami literately jumped on him and hugged him. He sobbed, clinging to him like he had one more minute of life.

"Shh, it's going to be all right. I promise you that..." Atem whispered in his ear, he kissed his neck softly. Yami's sobs ceased after a good two minutes. He began panting.

"It's alright, tell me what's happening?" Atem asked, wrapping his cape more securely around Yami. Yami gulped.

"Are your legs faded more?" Atem softly questioned, Yami nodded laboredly.

"My legs are fading faster and I don't know what to do," Yami said.

"I'm scared to look at it, I don't want to be consumed once again. It just feels like something will eat me alive again." Yami quivered, covering his legs more than his torso.

"Wear my cape, you won't see it any longer. My cape is longer than you so it will help a lot," Atem said, teasing Yami in the process. Yami laughed a little and hugged Atem tighter, believing what his lover was saying.

"I'm pretty short, but I don't need to be teased about it." Yami said, sniffling slightly.

"If I hear you laughing about it, I will continue to tease you regarding your height." Atem said, nuzzling his nose after.

"That tickles," Yami said, blushing just a tiny bit. Atem smiled.

"Does it? It's soft if you ask me." Atem said, making Yami let out a giggle. Yami rarely giggled, it was pretty cute when he did so. Especially when Atem himself caused it.

"The sun has not risen entirely, it is still early in the morning," Atem noticed, seeing the others still sleeping. "You woke up pretty early."

"I took a nap, remember? You wouldn't let me sleep until it was like ten or eleven." Yami said, playfully glaring at his partner.

"I'm sorry, love, I couldn't risk your health over sleep," Atem said, pecking his lips.

"I know that! But I really wanted to sleep." Yami said, pouting afterward.

"Don't pout at me, child." Atem said playfully. Well, Yami was basically like a child... or baby... compared to Atem. Is this illegal? Why did this cross Atem's mind? He chuckled at the foolish thought.

"I can pout all I want! You're not my mother to tell me such things." Yami said. Atem then took Yami's bottom lip between his own and kissed him. Yami kissed him back after a minute.

"But I can show you the consequences," Atem said, smirking afterward.

"What are you two doing up?" The two heard behind them. Both looked back to see Seth and Seto, mysteriously reappearing.

"Better question, where were you two?" Atem asked.

"On a walk." Seth stated, removing his arm from Seto's waist so it was hanging limply on his side.

"For the whole night?" Yami asked, looking specifically at Seto. Seto nodded.

"Walks soothes my mind a bit, we kind of fell asleep as we took a break by sitting on the rocks, so we didn't come back here." Seto explained, Yami nodded.
