Ry’s POV

What the f*** am I doing? Dapat ba nandito ako ngayon at nakatunganga samantalang aalis na siya?

This place seems more sad than It used to be. Luma na nga siyang bahay, pero bakit parang pakiramdam ko, nakikiramdam din ‘tong lugar na ‘to sa nararamdaman ko?

Pumunta ako sa sofa, dito siya nakaupo nung pumunta kami dito. She was looking through all those pictures sa may shelf. There was one picture that was down. Ito siguro yung hinawakan niya bago ko siya tinawag.

Kinuha ko yung picture frame at itinayo ito ng maayo—

*ring* *ring*

Kinuha ko yung phone ko at sinilent.  Ayokong kausapin ang kahit na sino ngayon. Not now.

I went to the piano. The first and only time played for her, that moment took my breath away. She was supposed to be the one to fall head over heels for me, pero ako mismo, nahuhulog sa sarili kong patibong. The more I wanted her to fall for me, the more I fell for her.

It’s true that I said that we should wait. Walang kasiguraduhan kung siya nga ba ang babaeng makakasama ko habang buhay dito sa bahay na ‘to. But if I could decide, if destiny was at the tip of my hand, I wanted it to be her.

Leche lang talaga, ang galing kong manghula.

There’s no one else like her. No one else smiles at me like she does. No one else can get angry at me for pissing her off. No one else healed my heart from my broken past.

I went and played the same song I played for her that day.

“Ang lungkot naman niyan.”

I turned my back para makita ang taong nagsalita sa likod ko.

“W-what are  you—“

Hindi ko na natapos ang pagsasalita ko dahil mabilis siyang tumakbo papunta sa akin at  niyakap ako.  I did, too.

“Hindi ako pwedeng umalis.” She said while crying. Nararamdaman kong umiiyak siya. This stupid girl.

“Tanga ka ba o ano? What about your dad? You can’t leave him, you’ve been wanting to see him!”

“Alam mo, kahit ano pang sabihin mo, hinding hindi ako mawawala sa paningin mo. Wish mo lang!”

Pareho na kaming parehong natatawa at naiiyak. I broke away from the hug so that I could see her face  once again. Hinawi ko yung buhok niyang magulo [palagi naman] at basang basa ng luha.
