{Chapter 7}

Our ice cream slowly turned into dinner as we chatted about everything. I was normally very shy but the Masons' were extremely comfortable to be around. Besides Mikey was there to clear up the few awkward moments that occurred. By the time we left Delilah's it was nearly 7:30 and Mikey was beat. I was too, it had been emotionally exhausting and I wanted to crawl under the covers and sleep for eternity.

"Fayely, I am tired," Mikey said, half way to the walk home.

"I know Mikey-Ikey, we are almost home," I picked him up and adjusted him in my arms, he rested his head on my shoulder and I noticed Danny looking at me curiously. I ignored it and we kept walking. After about two minutes my arms began to tire out and I moved him to my other arm and groaned. My shoulder was still sore from the accident last night.

"Here, I can carry him," Danny offered. I was about to protest when Mikey moved is face and my shoulder screamed in pain.

"Yeah, thank you," Danny took him and carried him the rest of the way. Alex, Anna and Amelia said goodnight and went the other way, Danny followed me upstairs to put him to bed. He placed him in my bed and I tucked him in, placing a kiss on his cheek I turned around and was about to leave when I heard Mikey's voice say

"Fayely, will you sing for me?"

"Silly, I thought you were asleep," I wrinkled me nose and he nodded

"I was, but I want you to sing for me," I glanced to Danny and he was watching me curiously

"Um, I'll wait down stairs," he said and left the room. No doubt, he was standing behind the door. I picked up my guitar and tuned it,

"Danny, if you are just going to stand behind the door, you might as well come in,"

"Fine," He entered and sat down on my bed. I crossed my legs and struck a chord on my guitar.

She struck a chord and started playing, I was watching her closely, transfixed at her beauty.

She starts singing and this girl has the voice of an angel, she looks so beautiful, little only the night light in the corner as a light source. The light hits her perfectly, giving the effect of an angel

Mikey's eyes close, but she keeps singing
